How will you describe Mulayam Singh Yadav's recent joining hands with the Congress to see the nuclear deal through?  

As congress has no truck with the Bsp naturally sp will be the partner of the congress in Up as congress cannot befriend with the Bjp. As the bricks of upa govt is fallling thanks to the dadagiri of the red brigade the voting profile of indian voters must be influenced and left would be losing for its smartness. This swing of voters will influence the result and fate of many candidate in particular and a party in general. Sp lacks that base that it enjoyed some years ago and it wants a revival by joining hands with the congress as it also cannot team up with the Bjp. Wait after some years the same Sp would part way and Bsp will come closer. This is called foreces of convenience that forges marriage of convenience.

Let us not discuss the motives. Yes they need the support of Congress to fight that vindictive adversary of theirs, Mayavati. But when it comes to accepting their support why not? It has come as a deliverance to Manmohan Singh and company when they were looking skywards.

Mulayam has every right to decide. There may be hidden agenda. But his current action by supporting the goverment is a good one
