I'v a stone in my gallbladder, I was wondering if there is a homeapathy or herbal cure for it.?

Asked by Y Baig in Alternative Medicine at   9:47 PM on December 22, 2008

Arle Rambabu's Answer

In medicine, gallstones (choleliths) are crystalline bodies formed within the body by accretion or concretion of normal or abnormal bile component.

Gallstones can occur anywhere within the biliary tree, including the gallbladder and the common bile duct. Obstruction of the common bile duct is choledocholithiasis; obstruction of the biliary tree can cause jaundice; obstruction of the outlet of the pancreatic exocrine system can cause pancreatitis. Cholelithiasis is the presence of stones in the gallbladder—chole- means "bile", lithia means "stone", and -sis means "process".

A regimen called a "gallbladder flush" or "liver flush" is a popular remedy in alternative medicine.[12] In this treatment, often self-administered, the patient drinks four glasses of pure apple juice (not cider) and eats five apples (or applesauce) per day for five days, then fasts briefly, takes magnesium, and then drinks large quantities of lemon juice mixed with olive oil before bed. The next morning, they painlessly pass a number of green and brown pebbles purported to be stones flushed from the biliary system.

Successfuls have got opportunity or guidance?

Asked by ddbb2 in Self Development at   8:12 PM on November 26, 2008

Arle Rambabu's Answer

successful people will avail both the components But it doesn't mean that all successful people will await for opportunity and guidance. There are many successful people who neither had the opportunity nor guidance.

Achievers will not wait for the opportunities. They create opportunities. If the things do not happen , they make the things happen. Similarly, there are successful people who made their way to top without guidance. They are self motivated.

If opportunity and guidance are available, there is nothing like it. Lack of them is not an excuse to become successful.

My question was whether arthiritis is a characteristic disease of all lazy people who don't work out in young age.

Asked by Vida Writer in Alternative Medicine at   7:54 PM on November 06, 2008

Arle Rambabu's Answer

arthritis is not the exclusive domain of lazy people..Some of the risk factors that can cause arthritis include:
# Genetics
Exactly how much heredity or genetics contributes to the cause of arthritis is not well understood. However, there are likely genetic variations that can contribute to the cause of arthritis.

# Age
Cartilage becomes more brittle with age and has less of a capacity to repair itself. As people grow older they are more likely to develop arthritis.

# Weight
Because joint damage is partly dependent on the load the joint has to support, excess body weight can lead to arthritis. This is especially true of the hips and knees that can be worn quickly in heavier patients.

# Previous Injury
Joint damage can cause irregularities in the normal smooth joint surface. Previous major injuries can be part of the cause of arthritis. An example of an injury leading to arthritis is a tibial plateau fracture, where the broken area of bone enters the cartilage of the knee joint.

# Occupational Hazards
Workers in some specific occupations seem to have a higher risk of developing arthritis than other jobs. These are primarily high demand jobs such as assembly line workers and heavy construction.

# Some High-Level Sports
It is difficult to determine how much sports participation contributes to development of arthritis. Certainly, sports participation can lead to joint injury and subsequent arthritis. However, the benefits of activity likely outweigh any risk of arthritis.

# Illness or Infection
People who experience a joint infection (septic joint), multiple episodes of gout, or other medical conditions, can develop arthritis of the joint
