Which field is good ?? marketing or IT??

Asked by Kruti Jani in Computers & Technology at   9:07 PM on January 05, 2009

Keshto Patel's Answer

Despite their differences, marketers and IT staff need to bridge the cultural chasm and communicate better so that digital projects meet their aims.

Research from SciVisum reveals that a communication chasm between marketing and IT teams is not only commonplace, but having a direct impact on the success of online marketing campaigns.

The company's Internet Campaign Effectiveness Study 2005 found that about 75 per cent of campaigns are hit by site failures. And it identified poor communication between marketing and IT as the root cause. A quarter of marketing departments admitted that they don't alert IT staff about impending campaigns.

According to a study by Aelera Corporation, improving communication between marketing and IT can boost marketing success significantly.

Now Obama is the president of USA. What is the effect on Indo-USA nuclear deal ?

Asked by Kailash Chan in News & Current Affairs at   7:22 PM on November 08, 2008

Keshto Patel's Answer

Kailash mark these words from Obama himself.....

“Given the deal that was reached with India, I think there is concern that the structure that had been in place may not sustain itself over the long term if we don’t make sure that we’re gathering up some sort of international consensus about what the rules of the road are. I know that the administration takes this seriously, but I don’t think that there has been as systematic an approach as I would like to see,” Obama said.

While Obama is an unknown quantity, being a freshman Senator, his utterances on the nuclear deal wherein he expressed concern that the mechanism set in place through the Deal was flawed and that there had not been "as systematic an approach as I would like to see" could give some pointers to the approach to the Deal in an Obama White House.

Obama said if elected he will make ratification of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty a priority.

"We should move quickly with other nations to negotiate a Fissile Material Cut-off Treaty to end production of the most dangerous nuclear materials."

In 2010, an international conference will meet to review the Non- Proliferation Treaty. If I am President, I will seize that opportunity to strengthen and enhance all aspects of the non-proliferation regime

Obama voted for the U.S.-India nuclear deal in 2006, but he also voted for amendments to condition the deal on India ending military cooperation with Iran and a presidential certification that nuclear cooperation with India will not aid India in making more nuclear weapons. In July 2008, Obama said "The existing agreement effectively balanced a range of important issues - from our strategic relationship with India to our non-proliferation concerns to India's energy need. I am therefore reluctant to seek changes."

Kailash with above statements coming right through the POTUS, you got all his train of thoughts on Indo Nuke Deal...

Do you think forceful convertion of Hindus to christianity is justifiable?

Asked by vichoo nair in News & Current Affairs at   5:07 PM on October 21, 2008

Keshto Patel's Answer

Fringe church groups are converting scores of Hindus to Christianity across South India, reports, George Iype

In many villages across South India, religion is turning out to be a question of money. Flush with funds from their headquarters in the United States, a number of evangelical and Pentecoastal church groups are converting hundreds of Hindus, especially belonging to the low castes, to Christianity. Similarly, Muslim scholars are touring villages in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka to lure locals to Islam.

Hindu nationalists leaders claim that despite the hue and cry they have raised against conversion all these years, `forced conversions are taking place at a brisk pace in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

"Christianity has firm roots in these southern states, which may be why some church groups have seized forced conversion as their mission," says K. Radharkrishnan, a Vishwa Hindu Parishad activist in Madurai, Tamil Nadu.

Last week VHP leaders from South India sent an urgent appeal to the federal government asking to prevent appeal to the federal government asking it to prevent Christian and Islamic missionaries from indulging in forced conversions. "These missionaries are spending dollars to convert people here. We want the government to arrest them for creating social and religious upheaval." Radhakrishnan said.

Church and Muslim leaders concede that his charge is not entirely baseless.

What do u think about Sadhvi Pragya........gulty or not.........

Asked by Riti in News & Current Affairs at   4:40 PM on November 05, 2008

Keshto Patel's Answer

Today one person who is much in news in Sadhavi Pragya Thakur. She is being held responsible for malegaon blast. Guilty or Not guilty is something that Law will decide but while interacting with many people I realised Pragya is becoming a hero in herself. She has become source of inspiration and pride for so many Hindus across the globe. Hindus who are generally tolerant to other religion are seeing a Heroine in Pragya Thakur. Is Pragya Thakur wrong. I thinking by the law of land, if proved she is wrong but a citizen of this country I think if she is involved in such activities she is not wrong.

Rise of people like Pragya only proves our system have failed to install faith in majority community, which is at the bashing from minority communities only because of vote bank poiltics. And this is nothing to laugh about. It is serious matter which has to be taken seriously by people who have power to change the system. What is more shocking is ex army men being part of Abhinav Bharat program. How long do you expect army personnels to lay down their life fighting terrorism supported by bloody political parties. How long do we expect Hindu to remain tolerant towards minority sponsered terrorism. This was sure to happen someday and it has happened now.

Our political leaders are very short sighted. They are only thinking of saving their position rather than saving the nation. Pragya Thakur is just the begining. Many more such Pragya Thakur will soon emerge. How long will a common man tolerate blast around him. It is really scary when a common man goes out every morning, with little hope of returning home safely.

Riti intellectual question anyway.....

What about people who dont have a permanent residence while preparing voter's list? Are they eligible to vote?

Asked by vichoo nair in News & Current Affairs at   5:15 PM on October 21, 2008

Keshto Patel's Answer

India is upside down with vote banks that would brings hindus misery beyond repair...........

While on the one hand many Indian citizens were denied voting rights due to goof ups in the voters' list, some Pakistani nationals in Mangalore, who have not yet been conferred Indian citizenship, were included in the voters' list! The incident came to light due to the alertness of a police inspector attached to Pandeshwar police station on rounds during the polling exercise. There is a conspricy around india to promote muslims to change bharat.s demography by hook n crook.
