Flexes & abducts thigh, rotates thigh medially,
Stabilizes knee and trunk. All muscles require adenosite triphosphate(ATP) as a source of energy to work. Some of ATP is stored in the muscles and is readily available. In absence of ATP muscle fatigue occurs which is a temporary situation and after a rest of about 20 to 30 minutes the muscles generate enough ATP to work again.
