i am weak in physics can i still bcom a perfect doctor

Asked by vijay sharma in Self Development at   4:59 PM on February 25, 2008

vinoo's Answer

Most of the entrance exams for medicine test ones basic knowledge in biology and chemistry, physics however forms part of the science stream at the school/college level. So, if you have really decided to become a doctor then concentrate on biology and chemistry, but do not ignore physics, try to do your best. In any competitive exam overall marks of the candidate is important, so do try and do your best in all subjects at school/college level.

Asked by sunil paul in Self Development at   3:01 PM on February 25, 2008

vinoo's Answer

The only way to achieve this is to eat proper food (avoid fatty, oily, and junk food), reduce the quantities that you normally eat by eating smaller portions. It is essential that you start regular exercises like, walking, jogging, swimming, etc;. Inactivity leads to deposition of fat and accumulation in the body, so you have to burn the fat by increasing your body metabolism. Plan for overall body development as this will help you to trim your stomach and also get a well-proportioned body as well. (there are no shortcuts for this)

I WANT TO CHOOSE BETWEEN SPARK AND HYUNDAI i10

Asked by sivakumar in Cars and Bikes at   6:44 PM on February 25, 2008

vinoo's Answer

The Hyundai i10 would be a better choice as it has many more advanced features compared to the Spark - such as air-conditioner, front power windows, air bags for all passengers, central locking, power steering, and tinted glasses, the engine is a 1.1 lt ( petrol) which gives a smoother drive for both in-city driving as well as long drives. The Spark though has a 3-cylinder 795 cc and a 4-cylinder 995 cc engine variant, this is definitely cheaper than the i10, but power and comfort is better on the i10. The Spark is actually a modified version of the earlier Matiz that was sold in India a few years ago, mileage is better on the Spark compared to the i10. On the whole the i10 would be a better option in the long run as this is specifically built to cater to the Indian road conditions.

Asked by tingtong in Self Development at   12:51 PM on February 26, 2008

vinoo's Answer

Its true when hope is lost everything is lost. Hope is like the light at the end of the tunnel, for as long as a person can see the light he will have hope of reaching the goal. Hence, hope is a live and active attitude. Hope combined with tenacity, perseverance, and action is the mantra for success in life.

how i improve my english written & speaking

Asked by prince in Self Development at   10:50 AM on February 24, 2008

vinoo's Answer

There are many institutes/coaching classes that specialize in English ( speaking and writing), you could look out for a good institute near your home and join as soon as possible. Alternatively, you could practice reading aloud from newspapers/ books for at least one hour daily, concentrate on pronunciation/diction. Look up the meanings of new words in the dictionary and try to use them while speaking to others. The more you practice the better you will become. Audio cassettes and CDs are also available in the market on how to speak and learn the language. Make it a habit to learn at least one new word a day and use it while talking, also write minimum one page a day (copy from a good book, magazine, etc;) and while doing this concentrate on spellings and the way the sentences are written to convey meaning. For good writing it is essential to learn the basics of grammar, so concentrate on this aspect.

"Happiness is not something u experience, it's something you remember." comment.

Asked by tingtong in Self Development at   4:03 PM on February 23, 2008

vinoo's Answer

Happiness is essentially a feeling, a state of mind, and an experience all put together, it is a combination of all these elements. One could be equally happy watching a favourite comedy, reading a good book, pursuing a favourite hobby, watching the sunset, taking a walk in a park, etc;. Happiness generally comes when there is no external pressure on the self and when the person likes what he/she is doing.
