Who makes element electronics?

Asked by Naveen Misra in Electronics & Gadgets at   8:28 AM on February 03, 2009

Santosh Kuma's Answer

they are located at:

701 Xenia Avenue South Suite 450 Minneapolis, MN 55416

Almost all consumer electronics are manufactured and assembled in the far east, with key components supplied by countries world-wide. Then they are branded with the company logo that buys the products from the wholesaler.

BTW - I couldn't find a phone number on their site, and their support page doesn't exist. The address above is their legal address, but the yellow pages can't find them, or a number.

How does the first television differ from the television today?

Asked by Naveen Misra in Electronics & Gadgets at   8:28 AM on February 03, 2009

Santosh Kuma's Answer

The basic ideas are similar, however there are many major differences. Newer models are capable of high-definition, which provides amazingly rich picture and sound quality. They are also a-lot lighter. But the biggest difference ever is in Febuary, 2009, most (if not all) TV stations will broadcast in digital, so your "bunny ear" type antenna will not work any-more. If you already have a set-top-box from your local cable or satellite company, you are good to go. Call 1-888-388-2009 for more info. Hope this helps and good luck!

Do you benefit from 1080p TV set if you use a digital cable or satellite service in US?

Asked by Naveen Misra in Electronics & Gadgets at   8:28 AM on February 03, 2009

Santosh Kuma's Answer

As of summer 2008, all satellite and cable companies in the US transmit only 1080i digital signal. When a cable or satellite service is used, there is no advantage of 1080p TV set over 1080i TV set. However 1080p sets usually come with some other more advanced specifications, which may make the image higher quality. Cable and satellite companies do not intend to upgrade the 1080i signal to 1080p in the near future, since this would involve high investment outlays and greater broadband capacity in their network. 1080p TV sets can fully utilize their potential when blue ray discs are played from DVD players.

What is the difference between rg6 rg6u rg6 quad and rg6q?

Asked by Naveen Misra in Electronics & Gadgets at   8:25 AM on February 03, 2009

Santosh Kuma's Answer

RG6 specifies a family of co-ax cables with similar characteristics. Within the family, there are several variations such as the materials used, screening and other characteristics. To select the right cable, there is no alternative to looking at the data sheets supplied by all manufacturers.

Remember that there are quality variations between manufacturers, so if you can't get a data sheet from a supplier, look elsewhere. All of the better quality suppliers will be happy to provide a data sheet. Those who won't give you a data sheet may have something to hide or simply don't know the performance of their own cable.

When is lord of the rings coming out on blu ray?

Asked by Naveen Misra in Electronics & Gadgets at   8:26 AM on February 03, 2009

Santosh Kuma's Answer

It is has not been given a date as of yet, there is some talk that Peter Jackson and New Line do not want to release it on Blue Ray until the market grows a little larger. Some internet rumors are saying that it will come out for the 10th anniversary and with the Hobbit on Blue Ray. Or be released a few months before the Hobbit come on in theater....I hope these are just lies and it comes out sooner.

How can I break a tv?

Asked by Naveen Misra in Electronics & Gadgets at   8:25 AM on February 03, 2009

Santosh Kuma's Answer

The easiest way is to use a big hammer, if that's the intent.

Otherwise, it's an electronic device which is made by man, and on that basis alone, it'll eventually break itself without anyone's help.
