f you have lost your PAN card, you need to notify the police and get an FIR from your local police station. You also need to write a letter requesting the issue of a duplicate PAN card.
Visit the official Web sites of UTI Investor Services Ltd or National Securities Depository Limited to locate the centres. For a detailed FAQ on PAN, visit the FAQ page on the Income Tax website
It could take a minimum of about 25-40 days to receive the new card.
