Whether 3g technology will work in chinese mobiles?

China has been pushing to create its own telecommunications standards, for a number of reasonably obvious reasons. But now the country has decided to award a number of 3G mobile licenses, based not only on the Beijing-created TD-SCDMA standard, but on CDMA and WCDMA as well. From a purely practical consideration, this is a story so big that it will be hard to find something of greater relevance to the industry for some time.

well deepak !
If u r using bsnl, then switch on the modem atleast 5 mins before u switch on the pc.. the led on the indicating internet stops blinking after 2-3 minutes when u switch-on the modem n the internet is ready.. u have to connect to internet through the software provided by bsnl, everytime u switch-on the pc.. there is no automatic connection, u have to click connect in that software everytime.. enjoy

there will be 17.5% VAT and I know what value the duty will be calculated on so no need for info on that or import procedures, just can't access the tariff today and so don't know the rate!

The Global Positioning System (GPS) uses a constellation of between 24 and 32 Medium Earth Orbit satellites that transmit precise microwave signals, which allow GPS receivers to determine their current location, the time, and their velocity. Its official name is NAVSTAR GPS. Although NAVSTAR is not an acronym, a few backronyms have been created for it.
GPS has become a widely used aid to navigation worldwide, and a useful tool for map-making, land surveying, commerce, scientific uses, and hobbies such as geocaching. Also, the precise time reference is used in many applications including the scientific study of earthquakes. GPS is also a required key synchronization resource of cellular networks, such as the Qualcomm CDMA air interface used by many wireless carriers in a multitude of countries.

Date of Gpsc prelim exam will be in oct- nov 2009..GPSC exam form will be available in august 2009.

= Course of Gpsc exam.
[A] Prliminary exam;

Multiple choice questions will be asked.

-->General studies [ 150 marks]

-->one Optional subject [from list of 27 subjects] [200 marks]

total= 350 marks.

Approx.U have to score 300 marks out of 350 marks as to qualify in prelim.
