what r d symptoms of pregnancy

Asked by Miaka Miko in Pregnancy at   1:43 PM on November 04, 2008

Sanya Tahir's Answer

1. Food cravings. Yes, it's a cliché, but food cravings sometimes can be a sign of pregnancy. Don't rely on them as a sure symptom (it may be all in your head, or even a sign that your body is low on a particular nutrient), but if cravings are accompanied by some of the other symptoms on this list, start counting the days from your last period.

2. Darkening of your areolas. If the skin around your nipples gets darker, you may have successfully conceived, though this may also signal a hormonal imbalance unrelated to pregnancy or be a leftover effect from a previous pregnancy.

3. Implantation bleeding or cramping. 3. About eight days after ovulation, you may experience implantation spotting, a slight staining of a pink or brown colour, as well as some cramping. This is caused by the egg burrowing into the endometrial lining. You might also see some spotting around the time you expect your period.

4. Frequent urination. Once the embryo implants and begins producing the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), you may find yourself going to the bathroom more often.

5. Fatigue. High levels of the hormone progesterone can make you feel as if you've run a marathon when all you've done is put in a day at the office. Fatigue is a hallmark of early pregnancy, though probably not a surefire symptom on its own.

6. Tender, swollen breasts. If you're pregnant, your breasts will probably become increasingly tender to the touch, similar to the way they feel before your period, only more so. Once your body grows accustomed to the hormone surge, the pain will subside.

7. Altered sense of taste. You may notice that your sense of taste changes. Some women say they have a metallic taste in their mouth, others that they cannot stand the taste of coffee, tea, or a food they usually like.

8. Morning sickness. If you're lucky, morning sickness won't hit you until a few weeks after conception. (A lucky few escape it altogether.) But as early as a couple of days following conception, you may begin feeling nauseated and queasy. And not just in the morning, either -- pregnancy-related nausea can be a problem morning, noon, or night.

9. A missed period. If you're usually pretty regular and your period is late, it's worth trying a pregnancy test. A missed period is the surest sign of pregnancy in a woman of childbearing age who usually has regular periods.

Tell me some Home Remedies to get rid of Body Odor

Asked by Sonalika in Beauty & Fashion at   2:16 PM on November 06, 2008

Sanya Tahir's Answer

Try avoiding refined foods such as hydrogenated oils and other processed foods. Eat healthy food that contains loads of fiber, whole grains, wheat, soy products and green leafy veggies.
Include red radish juice in the diet. You can also apply it on your feet, under the arm and between the toes after the shower.
Drinking plenty of water will also help you to smell fresh and sweet.
Take two or three charcoal capsules per day. It will help to absorb waste products and decrease fermentation.
Wear cotton clothes to soak sweat during summer.
Body odour always lingers on clothes. So, wash your clothes everyday and never repeat the same outfit without washing it first. Remember wearing something sleeveless will only make the smell more prominent. If you are a person who perspires a lot, wear something with sleeves as often as possible.
Vinegar is an effective home remedy for underarm odour. Apply cider vinegar or white vinegar for unpleasant armpit odour with the help of cotton. This will help you be odour free throughout the day in minutes. Do not apply vinegar on freshly shaved skin as it may sting.
Apply baking soda with lemon on the underarms to kill bacteria. It also aids in absorbing sweat.
Add a few cups of tomato juice to bathing water and soak yourself in water for about 15 minutes.
To smell fresh add a teaspoon of alum to your bath water. Cupful of camphor oil and boiled mint leaves will also work wonders.
Use antibacterial soap or deodorant soap while bathing.
Put 10 drops of essential oil in 30 mm water and apply it underarms.
Lastly, keep your body clean. Epsom salt bath or alternate hot and cold shower baths daily will play a major role in fighting against body odour, This will also improve blond circulation and reduce congestion in the body.
Add a tablespoon of honey to lukewarm water for the final rinse. It will help in keeping the body odour in check.
For smelly feet, wash and dry between the feet adequately and wear well- ventilated footwear to let feet breath.

Home Remedy for Body Rashes???????

Asked by Sonalika in Beauty & Fashion at   2:01 PM on November 06, 2008

Sanya Tahir's Answer

Treatment of rashes focuses on resolving the underlying disorder and providing relief of the itching that often accompanies them. Soothing lotions or oral antihistamines can provide some relief, and topical antibiotics may be administered if the patient, particularly a child, has caused a secondary infection by scratching. The rash triggered by allergies should disappear as soon as the allergen is removed; drug rashes will fade when the patient stops taking the drug causing the allergy.
Following are some of the effective home remedies for body rash:

1. Apply olive oil to the affected area to get relief from the body rash.
2. Another effective natural cure for body rash and back rash is to apply baking powder on the affected area.
3. Pour a cup of uncooked oatmeal into your bathwater and soak in the tub for natural treatment of body rash. It relieves inflammation.
4. To relieve from skin rash, make a poultice from dandelion, yellow dock root and chaparral.
5. Take foods rich in Vitamin C. It has antioxidant properties that will help in fighting body rash.

What are the causes of Body Rashes

Asked by Sonalika in Beauty & Fashion at   1:59 PM on November 06, 2008

Sanya Tahir's Answer

Rashes can take place on a particular part of body or can affect the entire body. The common causes of skin rashes include irritation, allergy to dyes, and reaction to chemicals in clothing, measles and dermatitis etc. Allergies can be of different types. Heat is also a major factor that leads to skin rashes and this explains the reason why most people suffer from body or skin rashes during summers.
There are many theories as to the development of skin rashes, but experts are not completely clear what causes some of them. Generally a skin rash is an intermittent symptom, fading and reappearing. Rashes may accompany a range of disorders and conditions, such as:

Infectious illness. A rash is symptom of many different kinds of childhood infectious illnesses, including chickenpox and scarlet fever. It may be triggered by other infections, such as Rocky Mountain spotted fever or ringworm.

Allergic reactions. One of the most common symptoms of an allergic reaction is an itchy rash. Contact dermatitis is a rash that appears after the skin is exposed to an allergen, such as metal, rubber, some cosmetics or lotions, or some types of plants (e.g. poison ivy). Drug reactions are another common allergic cause of rash; in this case, a rash is only one of a variety of possible symptoms, including fever, seizures, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, heartbeat irregularities, and breathing problems. This rash usually appears soon after the first dose of the course of medicine is taken.

Autoimmune disorders. Conditions in which the immune system turns on the body itself, such as systemic lupus erythematosus or purpura, often have a characteristic rash.

nutritional disorders. For example, scurvy, a disease caused by a lack of Vitamin C, has a rash as one of its symptoms.

cancer. A few types of cancer, such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia, can be the underlying cause of a rash.

Friends mujhe apna Jaw(Jawline) ka Fats(or extra muscle) Ghar me hi Reduce or Burn karna isliye koi 100% working Exercise Batayain jisse mere jaw ke fats kamho

Asked by Devil 12 in Beauty & Fashion at   4:37 PM on November 05, 2008

Sanya Tahir's Answer

Sit up straight and retain a good posture. Hold your head high above your shoulders with your jaw slightly jutted throughout the day.

Open your mouth as wide as you can, hold for 10 seconds and relax. For better results, add resistance under your chin--like a tennis ball--or push out your jaw as if you're trying to scoop with it and work it up and down a few times.

Place one hand on your forehead. Push your head forward while providing resistance with your hand.

Point your chin up. Pucker up your lips, push them as far out as you are able to and hold for 10 seconds.

Chew sugar-free gum to keep your jaw and facial muscles moving. Working your jaw line will prevent excess fat. The muscles in your face responsible for keeping your jaw line tight are the same muscles that you use to chew and make facial expressions. Chewing gum and making facial expressions will help retain that jaw line.

I HOPE THESE EXERCISES WILL HELP YOU !!

What is Agoraphobia?

Asked by Kailash Negi in Personal Health at   4:32 PM on November 04, 2008

Sanya Tahir's Answer

Agoraphobia is the fear of being in a situation where one might experience anxiety or panic and where escape from the situation might be difficult or embarrassing. People with agoraphobia may feel anxious about such things as loss of bladder or bowel control or choking on food in the presence of others. They also might feel anxious about being home alone, leaving home, or being in a crowded place, such as on public transportation or in an elevator, where it might be difficult or embarrassing to find a way out. To avoid the anxiety associated with these situations they refrain from putting themselves into such situations.
The severity of agoraphobia is quite variable. Some people with agoraphobia live essentially normal lives as they avoid potentially anxiety-provoking situations. However, in severe cases of agoraphobia, people are homebound. These people work very hard to avoid any and all situations that might cause them to become anxious.
Two major characteristics are associated with agoraphobia:

People develop anxiety when thinking about being in a situation out of their comfort zone. They fear feeling trapped in a situation where they judge it would be difficult or embarrassing for them to leave the situation.
People avoid those situations which bring them anxiety or panic. It is the fear of the anxiety that leads to the agoraphobia.
