Dear P,
As per my belief all three make the essential contents of a married relationship and act like pillars in this I would like to add another pillar which is "communication".
Materialistic satisfaction gives an immediate and contemporary satisfaction, like the desire of a human to be good looking, we know that looks are different from inner qualities but still we all desire to be good looking.
Emotional: Emotions is a state of mind which lasts comparatively longer than the other two but they too tend to fade away once the other desires are not fulfilled. "I remember a dialogue in the movies jannat that: "jab gareebi darwaje se andar aati hai to pyar khidki hai bahar chala jaata hai". Lack of material satisfaction between the partner may lead them to faded love between them over the period of time.
Physical Satisfaction also contribute towards an all round good relationship as lack of it may lead to adultery and extra-marital affairs and so on. This is one pillar that is important and cannot be easily denied upon.
These views are my own please forgive me if you find anything absconding.
