It appears that when you say "make my pc faster" you're talking about download / upload speed. Unfortunately, bandwidth is determined by your ISP. If they only sell you 1.5 meg download package...that's as fast as it's going to get.
There are a few things you can do to help your computer get the most out of your internet connection though. Try and keep your computer spyware free by downloading a few free programs and using them often. Download and install:
Spybot Search And Destroy
Ad-Aware
Spyware blaster
All have free versions and are effective anti-spyware measures. Make sure you keep the spyware definitions updated on all of them and scan with them periodically. Other than that, there's not much you can do to increase the "speed" of your computer on the internet unless you want to spend more money on higher bandwidth service from your provider.
