Have you ever taken a herbal remedy for your illness instead of the drug prescribed by your doctor and it worked?

Pathak's Answer

Herbal treatment in India is an age old process. In ancient times it use was far wider. However, this concept has recently been revived and now more people are getting interested towards it.
Incidentally I have not had any necessity so far such medication and treatment.

Yes, about garlic I know that it is a hardy plant of the amaryllis family who’s strongly pungent bulb or cloves are used in cookery and medicine. Garlic if known for its property in treatment of hypertension, diabetics and acidity. It helps in reducing blood cholesterol.

Without knowing the girl and understanding her mind, you cannot say you love the girl. In love and friendship both of you should know each other intimately. You have not talked to the girl. Neither she talked to you. In such situation friendship cannot grow. A friendship is not like that. It cannot be one sided. It is a relation in between two. In friendship there is common interest, affection, attachment to each other, loyalty and mutual respect. All those factors create confidence and trust.

Therefore, you have talk to the girl. Find out a congenial atmosphere so you can express your feelings to her. Or else you can call on her phone politely.

Varun, I am confused whether you want to forget or do not like to forget. Your question is contradictory in meaning. In love it is very much difficult to forget the loved one.
But, still one decodes to forget one’s loved one, there may be some reasons behind. Therefore, to forget it would take some time and then gradually fade away from the mind like a night fall after twilight.

For that,

1. Believe that time will take care of your feelings of separation.
2. Take the feelings as dreams.
3. Avoid as far as practicable to keep yourself away from that thinking.
4. Keep busy in some other works.
5. Read books of interest.

I try to practice meditation but have great resistance. I spoke to a monk today and he said 'Just stop meditating. You're obviously practising daily awareness anyway so it's okay'. What do people think?

You cannot achieve anything great simply by fluke; by least labour and without conviction.

This is difficult no doubt but not impossible.
When you get resistance for such an endeavor, simply remember Columbus discovering India and Sir Edmund P. Hillary along with Tenzing Norgay conquering the Mount Everest in 1953.
Nome of them could achieve their target through a short cut way or with less labour.
Therefore, if you want to go for meditation;

1. At first, be convinced in meditation. That is not superficially; but by heart.
2. Once you are convinced, you need not go to any other recourse or reference like monks and others. They have their own perceptions which may be of different ideology.
3. For clarification, you should approach the right-authority; not any others, who do not have link.
4. You must have conviction in your mind.
5. Have a belief in meditation. If you do not have belief, do not go for.
6. Be prepared for the initial difficulties and adjustments.

Jammy, to clarify your doubts on love and romance you can ask anybody whom you think proper to give you the proper answers.
However, he/she would tell you about love and romance as follows;
Love in broader sense is an impulsive element of instinct which comes with us at the time of birth. Infant, children, adolescents, youth, husband, wife, father, mother, grandpas, every body do have this celestial element of love. Therefore, love to each other is divine. It is nearer to God. Without love the world cannot exist.
But, love also has another dimension. This love exists between male and female, boy and girl. In this love angle, there is physical attraction, attachment and fragrance of sex. This love has link with romance.
However, romance has an individual meaning. Etymological meaning of romance is an instinctive spirit, enriched with sentiment, emotion, or a desire. But this desire is different from lust.

In the initial and introduction stage of friendship, look of a boy matters. Look attracts the attention of others including girls. Therefore, normally girls become primarily attracted to a handsome and good looking boy when they see him.
But in fact, beauty plays the secondary role in the long run, in relationship and love.
Beauty is temporary. It fades away gradually from the physique. Only quality, value and worth of a person remain as permanent. Therefore, the wise qualities of the boy will go a long way in friendship and love.

You love him. You cannot forget him. In such situation you must be bold enough to express your feelings to the boy. This is not the bad manners. It is necessary to tell your mind to the boy you love. Otherwise how he would know your feelings?

It is little bit difficult for a girl to tell a boy “Ilove”. There is no definite formula to express love. It depends upon the individual; his/her nature.
You need not have to tell him directly “I love you”. However, you may try few tips to express your love to your love.

1. Be a good listener: The best way to express love is to listen the boy intently. Do not interrupt while he is saying something.
2. Sweet terms increase charms: Words have stimulating effects. Saying nice words to each other is a great way of expressing love. It strengthens the bond of love.
3. Spare time, ring Chime: Try to spend maximum time with your beloved.
4. Touch plays major plays: Always sit by your partner’s side, sudden holding hands knowingly or unknowingly etc. are the signal of expression.
5. Odd jobs good jobs: unusual to hear but it is true that doing odd jobs for your loved one may enhance love between both of you, such as carrying his bag, button up his shirt etc. etc.
During the process you would know your love one’s mind.

Bibhu, you are a new member to Ibibo. You are welcome.
You want friendship. It is good that you are already a member of Ibibo. You would get lot of friends here. Friendship means a relation between two. Both should know and understand each other intimately. Both of you should be of similar interests, mutual respect. There should be confidence, security and trust in between you two.

In true friendship, there are feelings, caring and concern, loyalty, love, confidence on each other. In friendship, trust is the vital element. Without trust, true friendship cannot last long. When trust is lost, every thing lost.

On the other hand, girls are selective in making friendship. To become a friend with a boy, a girl first sees that she can have confidence, security and trust on him. Once she is confirmed and satisfied with all those traits in a boy, she expresses desire to make friendship with him; otherwise she shows her back.

My suggestion is, therefore, that you continue in this forum and see the activities of Ibibo like questioning, answering, opinion making, blogging etc. This is a good and helpful platform. You involve in those activities. Other members, boys and girls would be attracted to your activities and offer their friendship to you.
That will give you an option to select your friend. You need not bother much now.

Pinky, love or friendship is not so simple or like taking a cup of tea. Love is much more than that. Love cannot be one sided. If it is on sided, it is not love. It is infatuation.

You love someone so much, but he does not. So it cannot be a love.

Friendship or element of love grows between two after knowing and understanding each other intimately. Both of them are of similar interests. In true friendship, there are feelings, care and concern, loyalty, mutual respect and confidence on each other. Then an attachment and an attraction grow between the two. And gradually the element of love starts growing. In such situation both become greatly attracted and close to each other. Both become unable to leave each other even for a moment.
In your case, therefore, instead of feeling bad and being upset; see that;
1. Your response and activities attract the boy.
2. He feels free and secured with you.
3. He finds sincerity and in you.
4. He gets confidence on you.
5. There is no scope for suspicion.
6. He finds that you are trustworthy.

And once for all, talk to the boy and know his mind.
