Use WINRAR software? Its anyways useful for zipping.

I will tell you the process as well about how to set the password.

Store the data which you want to protect in a folder, lets say ABC.

Right click on the folder and choose "add to archive".
Go to the Advanced tab, and select "set password". Put the password and select "Encrypt file names". Check this box.

Because of this you will have to put the password only once. If you leave it unchecked, you have to put password for each and every file you will try to open.

So make sure to check this option. Click Ok and you are done.
Now try to access that ABC.rar, it will ask you for password that only you know!

Bump/Displacement maps would work, but it would mean you need to pre-render the image, modify the image using some image processing software, use it as displacement map, and then re-render.
A simpler option would be using the bevel or bevel profile modifier.

It means you've gone above how many you've allowed the download amount... if you go to the transfer (I dont have my ares with me) and then something about how many you're allowed to download, you just need to make the number higher...

You cannot play it on WMP-11. You need to get a flv converter to convert flv to wmv for playing on windows media player, you can view this step by step tutorial

Linux is all about choice and freedom. There are different Linux distribution exists with different goals. It is good idea to define your goals and select Linux distribution as per your requirements.

I like Redhat and Debian for server as they are rock solid stable and comes with good binary packaging system. Some will swear up by Knoppix Live CD.

Some people like Suse and other recommends Ubuntu. There are others who like to compile everything from scratch (Gentoo).
