hi fnds, I want to buy a bike, which one is better according to power and performance........karizma or yamha fz and whats is the price and milege of fz

Asked by Asit Mallick in Cars & Bikes at   11:41 AM on September 25, 2008

Yogesh Pd's Answer

karizma might give u better performance than fz
According to sources Fz is about 153cc and 14 to 15 bhp whereas karizma is 223 cc and 17 bhp.
so definetely kariizma is better one in compare of performance and considering mileage
Fz is excpect to give about 40 to 45 kmpl
Fz is expecting price tag with 65,000. to 70,000. (yet to announced)

I, wanted to know what is the difference between a Liquid Cooled , Oil Cooled & Air Cooled Engines in Bikes ?

Asked by VISHWESH in Cars & Bikes at   4:59 PM on September 23, 2008

Yogesh Pd's Answer

Liquid and oil cooled are same. In india all the liquid cool engines are of oil.

Air Cooler Engines: Generally Air blowing past the cylinder and cylinder head while in motion to disperse heat
Oil cooled :Some manufacturers use a hybrid cooling method where engine oil is circulated between the engine case and a small radiator. Here the oil doubles as cooling liquid, prompting the name "oil-cooling.

Are the engines of Pulsar 180dtsi & Pulsar 200dtsi the same or have any difference between them ?

Asked by VISHWESH in Cars & Bikes at   4:34 PM on September 18, 2008

Yogesh Pd's Answer

dude there is 20 cc and 4 bhp difference in these bikes.
P200 is 20 cc and 4 bhp more than P180. hence P200 is much faster and powerful then P180.
both are good looking bike but i think P200 is much better looking and sporty style bike.
but beware!!! both bikes are required heavy maintaince .
bajaj's engine in the 3 upper model bikes i;e, P180, P200, P220 are not good they run very well in 1st year then they creates lots of noice. and yes the most important thing.
P200 and P220 has no kicklever only selfstart, so in case of problem in kick start u have to use push start to start ur bike.
i never recommend any new rider to start with bajaj products.
they doesnt have good quality of their engines and their clutch box.
why didnt u try the new apahce rtr efi.
