What is normal hair loss and excessive hair loss?

Hi Shiv, each day our scalp sheds anywhere from 50 to 100 hair strands, this is considered normal. Excessive or abnormal hair loss or shedding is defined as the loss of more than 150 hair strands each day for an extended period of time.

Hi Alkadeep, you have not mentioned your height to weight as it would have be easier for me to tell you how much weight loss you need. Anyway in order to reduce excess weight, you need to eat fewer calories and also burn extra calories through an exercises schedule. Healthy diet and exercise is the best way to reduce excess weight. Giving you some tips to reduce excess weight:
1. Do aerobic exercises (walking/cycling/swimming) to burn extra calories and a weight training workout to help tighten and strengthen the muscles.
2. Do brisk walking, cycling or swimming for 30- 45 minutes thrice a week.
3. Perform weight training exercises on alternate days.
4. Eat low fat, low calorie diet.
5. Include variety of low fat foods in the diet.
6. Include green leafy veggies, fruits, salads, nuts, low fat milk, and low fat paneer.
7. Avoid oily, fatty, junk and processed foods.
8. Drink plenty of water.
Remember losing 2 to 3 kgs per month is advisable and it’s healthy too!

Hi Vishal, it is difficult to gain height at this age. Height is genetically predetermined. Girls gain maximum height till the age of 18 and boys gain till the age of 21 only. If your wife is 23 yeras old then it will be difficult for her to gain height.

Hi Nirav, the best way to way to get your belly in shape is trough diet control and exercise . Eat low fat, low calorie diet. Include variety of low fat foods in the diet. Include green leafy veggies, fruits, salads, nuts, low fat milk, and low fat paneer. Avoid oily, fatty, junk and processed foods. Drink plenty of water. Also exercise regularly. You must strengthen your abdominal muscles and lose body fat. You can take up any cardio exercise (walking/jogging/cycling/etc.) to reduce body fat. Do crunches, sit ups, leg lifts, and jackknife sit ups, obliques and variations in these exercises. These will help to tone the abdominal muscles.

Hi Shekhar, the egg is no dought a living thing! An individual form of life, such as a plant, animal, bacterium, protist, or fungus; a body made up of organs, organelles, or other parts that work
together to carry on the various processes of life. Chicken egg that has just been laid, will not develop into a chick, and we should probably consider it to be non-living. But it is,
essentially, a cell from a living chicken and it clearly began as aliving cell and it still has all the biochemistry of a living cell. So at what point did it "cross the line" from a living cell to a non-living
one? It's very difficult to come up with a completely satisfactory answer.

Hi Mala, try one home remedy at a time to get rid of the dark circles.

Drink at least ten glasses of water everyday.

Take all precautions to avoid strain on the eyes.

Eight hours of sleep is a must for all of us, specially for people having dark circles under their eyes.

Do not leave cream on the skin around the eyes for long periods. Remove the cream applied around the eye after 10 min. No cream should be left on the skin around the eyes for long periods.

Close your eyes and cover eyelids with slices of raw potato or cucumber for 15-20 minutes. Wash with warm water and apply a cream.

Eat vegetables and fruits rich in vitamin A.

Immerse carrot leave in hot water and leave for a few minutes. Drink the liquid 3 times a day before meals.

Dip cotton balls in rose water or cold water and keep under the eyes for 10 minutes.

Take Ginkgo.

Try placing cooled chamomile tea bags over and around the eyes.

Hi Nirav, the two most effective natural methods of lowering fat and losing weight are eating healthy diet and exercise.
Diet: One of the most important ways to reduce weight is to cut down the amount of fat in your diet. Fat is an essential food group, so you should never attempt to cut it out entirely, but you should limit the amount you consume, particularly of saturated fats. Avoid oily, fatty, junk and processed foods.
Exercise: Exercise is extremely important for your body to optimize its functioning and get rid of excess weight. It is therefore one of the best and most natural way to reduce weight. You should exercise for at least 30 to 45 minutes daily; this can be simply walking or some more vigorous exercise. Losing even a few pounds a month can have a considerable beneficial effect.
