Meera Jadhav's Answer
Hi Jeetu, In order to gain healthy weight you need to consume more calories than you are currently taking in every day. The concept is simple, but putting it into action is not. You will have to be dedicated and patient like Hritik! You also need to have strong willpower and time to get a physique like him. If you put your efforts in then in the end, the effort is well worth it. You have not mentioned your height as it is required to know how many kgs of weight gain you need. I am giving you some tips to gain weight which you can follow:
1. Eat high protein and high calorie diet. Include milk, milk products, nuts, soy, sprouts, dals and pulses in your diet.
2. Include egg, chicken and fish as they are richest source of protein. You can include these in your diet regular basis.
3. For quick results you can include protein powder in your diet. Whey proteins give best results and they do not have any side effects. You can try optimum or whey or serious mass.
4. Eat small and frequent meals.
5. Also follow rigorous weight training exercises (lifting weights). Do not worry about gaining heavy muscles like men. Women lack the androgen which is a male hormone, which is responsible for muscle gain in males.
6. Focus more on weight training exercises of all the muscles.
7. Proper rest is also important for weight gain, so sleep for about 8 hours at night.
Follow the diet and exercise routine religiously.
