Oliver's Answer
It was love at first sight. I an Indian. She a Russian. I a doctor, she a primary school teacher. We met for New Year's Eve, had candle-light dinner, danced, romanced till the wee hours of New Year 1988.
Thereafter, we did everything written in the Mills and Boon romance books. We literally painted the town(Moscow) red, went for picnics, visited the discotheque, went for movies, attended weddings, birthday parties, casino's, the works.
Our sex life started two years after courtship. I used to call her angel face, she thought I was her knight in shining armour(read apron). We had one-night stands and started living- in for four long years.
Our relationship culminated in marriage in 1991. She gave birth to our love-child six mths later.
Sad to say, our relationship lasted only four yrs. Due to my in-laws interference in our married life she divorced me four years later. Right now, my son is with her and she has gone ahead in life with her own set plans.
I have lost touch with my Jaaneman, Dilruba, Dilnasheen, Janasheen.
She has been bold enough to enter into another marriage.
I suffered heartbreak all these years but now my wounds have healed and I am single again.
