Sachin won't play IPL games for fear of failing and will remain 'injured'. Is this likely?

Asked by Arunava in IPL at   9:10 PM on April 30, 2008

's Answer

No it cannot be the case. He is a man with true sports spirit and he have proven it many times. A man who played with the toughest teams in the world cannot be fearful of IPL. Any way he is declared "fit" for the next IPL match. So lets hope a run blasting debut of Sachin in T20.

WHAT IS THE RESON BEHIND IPL IS GONING TO BE POPULARITYDO YOU THING IT WILL BE GIVE MORE REVUNE TO THE INVESTORS?

Asked by khanjan in IPL at   10:58 AM on April 24, 2008

's Answer

Of course yes! IPL is all about money, money and money... For investors, for sponsors, players and above all for BCCI. The extra-ordinary hype for cricket is quite strange for a country like India where cricket flows in every Indian's blood. But as they say "Jo dikhta hai..... wohi bikta hai".... so is IPL. You can simply imagine while watching the live telecasts. Stadiums are fully crowded and people are going crazy with their team. Music videos, Cheer girls in skimpy cloths, souvenirs and Bollywood stars cheering their supporting teams on field..... The team owners are leaving no stones unturned to stuff their pockets and to keep the IPL going great till the Finale....... Now the question “is promoting the teams in glamorous way is important or promoting true cricketing spirit is”, which according to me is missing some where down the line….. Cheers!!!!!

what is the aim and objectives of IPL is it for entertainment or for some thing to earn money

Asked by Mahmood in IPL at   4:37 PM on April 21, 2008

's Answer

Exactly. The whole and sole aim of IPL is to market T20 cricket in India (where cricket is a religion) and to grab as much of money as possible. That is why they are even mixing too much of glamor in this new form of cricket tournament.

Asked by neeraj sinha in Agony Aunt at   8:27 PM on February 25, 2008

's Answer

Love means understanding, patience and sacrifice. But your affair lasted for 10 years and you still missed out to understand your girlfriend's nature. It is obvious that during this period she has noticed her dreams are bigger than your love. And she is moving to a wealthy life with her parents choice. we all know true love breaks all barriers and she didn't tried to so. But don't get heart broken, instead of burying yourself in agony try to move forward. Don't waste your use full time by thinking of a person who had cheated your honesty and loyalty. God had his plans for you to live a blessed life with the best person. All good things comes after lots of pain. so be thankful to God for saving your life from an ungrateful person and concentrate on your career. we all are living in a fast moving world where there is no place for failure... go ahead and grab your part of success.... be a warrior and win the race of life.... love will soon follow.....

After this election will there be any stability in Pakisthan?

Asked by Moloy in News & Current Affairs at   9:41 AM on February 21, 2008

's Answer

It is difficult to answer this question now. Both the winning parties had anti Mushrraf agenda and won the election, though the voting was only 35%. But lets not forget that the US is putting pressure on Zardaari and Nawaz Sharif to run the Govt with Musharraf. And if the US succeeds in its effort Pakistan will suffers even more of unstability and the wound of terrorism. Only way to cater terrorism in Pakistan is to handle the extremists carefully and seal their support to the Talibanis. Though there are so many other things but dealing with the extremists is the major priority. Lets hope that the newly formed Government fulfills these criteria and brings peace in the country as the issue holds equal importance for our security also.

When a girl drinks it is always considerated bad in our society but why when a guy do so it's a normal thing?afterall both r human beings. Why differences?

Asked by *Mani * in Agony Aunt at   1:29 AM on February 27, 2008

's Answer

Drinking is bad for both. So far as social discrimination is concerned girls are facing it since ages. In India girls were brought up in a traditional culture which has defined so many things as a taboo to them. Indian culture has never approved of drinking as a normal thing even for boys. But it is the western influence that has made it a common thing among men. But it is our society which made them superior so no one raises finger on them. As metro cities follows the wester culture, so it is no more a bad thing for girls to drink and smoke. But it is always advisable to stay away from alcohol...... as it can never do any good to you......

should prostitution in INDIA be legalized. it may reduce sex related crimes. isn't it...........build a voice by sharing your thoughts yaar.........

Asked by p kumar in Agony Aunt at   9:12 AM on February 28, 2008

's Answer

Just making prostitution legal is not going to help the society in any ways. Maximum cases of sex related crimes is due to sick and cruel mentality and not just the hunger of lust. Again India is still suffering poverty. People of many states are selling their daughters just to afford minimal livelihood. And by making it legal we are showing the criminals a clear path to force girls into prostitution. The root cause remains awareness among all for such crimes. India needs strict and fast laws to put such criminals behind bars with rigorous punishments which will create fear among others who want to dare such crimes. Indians need to be brave enough to voice against such crimes. Remember even tough it is difficult to stop such crimes but we can avoid it if we all start speaking out against it.......
