What does Sanyaasa mean?

Asked by My creations in Puja & Rituals at   5:25 PM on July 31, 2008

H.A's Answer

to explain this we will say renounciation of everything. this really does not mean giving up it means not beeing attached to them and forgetting all the rest in the world. remember we have come here to experience and understand the entire god which is everything included YES !every atom and energy, just immagine if we do not get involved with the all the acts then can we really say we have understood everything . all those things we dont do will be hurdles when we come accross then in the different states because we will not know them completely . then how can we merge with the totality?

H.A's Answer

there are many tantric as well as vedic varying from single letter to stroram, kavacha, struthi, adhithya hrdayam, adhitya sahara nama and many others. any one of these will give you the same effect as all religious acts are effect giving as long as the feelings or bhavana is sincer. all external rictuals are limited only to keeping the karma indhriysa and ganyna indriya occupied, and performing action automatically with out disturbingf the dhyana of single point concentration of the dietiy. the communication between the two is only possible with feelings or bhavana. all rest are means designed to ensure that bhavana is pure and single pointed.

Pooja is the only way to get closer to God, what do u think?

Asked by chandra in Puja & Rituals at   10:05 AM on August 03, 2008

H.A's Answer

No! It is only a way to be occupied with god consciousness.

the closest we can become with god is to merge with him, this requires complete understanding about him. thus knowledge and attaining wisdom is the only way. try this firmly believe that this universe does not exist, then you will see the everything you observe will dissappear. (kindly be true to your self in believing this) now you will see that you still exist if you can explain this you have merged with the almighty even thought you feel you are living.

what are Samadhi, Turiya and nirvikalpa ?

Asked by My creations in Puja & Rituals at   8:33 AM on August 02, 2008

H.A's Answer

these are well defined words that clearly discribe the state of becoming one with god even while living in this body. the word definitions of samadhi is a state when all duality is transended and we are in a state of no more thoughts. turiya is the other name given to discribe the same state. nirvikalpa is associated with no kalpanas or immagination this is really discribing the vision with the feelings or sensations as experienced by the gross senses. they are actually discriptions in words to which we have given meaning this is accepted by the majority. turiya is the state beyond mind.
