Asked by dollmadhu in Computers & Technology at   7:57 PM on November 09, 2007

Jyotishmaan's Answer

You can free up space on your hard disk in the following way- Try the following: 1. Delete all unnecessary, unused and old files – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Mp3, Images etc 2. Uninstall all unwanted programs 3. Run Disk cleanup and/ or manually delete all files from Windows TEMP folder 4. Sometimes viruses block space, hence you need to run an undated anti-virus and delete all viruses which will also free the space blocked by it. After the above if you need more space, then you need to either install a new hard drive with a higher capacity or start using an external hard drive.
