Each house in a birth chart rules certain significations. These significations are ruled by certain planet or planets. They are called significators or Karak Graha. Favorable or unfavorable placements of Karkas give favorable or unfavorable results regarding Karaktva. Following are the Karaktva for each house and it's Karak Grahas.

1st House: signifies body, appearance, disposition, character, wisdom, habits, birth, inclination, strength, stature, health, happiness, complexion, appearance, head etc
Karaka: Sun

2nd House: signifies face, family, wealth, domestic happiness, eyes, speech, thoughts, prosperity, memory, pleasure, food habits, ear, learning, intelligence, cunning, savings, anger, personal property, fortunes, relations, fixed temperament, jewels, observation, right eye, tongue, financial position etc.

Hello Dhyan Jyoti, your ascendant is Virgo, Rasi is Sagittarius and Nakshtra is Purva Shada. Present Dasa is Mars Venus till May 2010. Mars Mahadasa will last till April 2011.

For Virgo ascendant Mars is lord of 3rd house and 8th house. As a result Mars becomes malefic. So, Mars Mahadasa wouldn't give you benefic results.

Mars Mahadasa will be followed by Rahu Mahadasa till 2029. Rahu is with Sun and Venus. In your Lagna Kundli it is placed in 11th house and and in Chandra Kundli it is placed in 8th house. This indicates that during Rahu Mahadasa, you will be offered an unconventional, out of marriage relationship by a prominent person in power or someone with a good social status, could be a spiritual person also.
