Each house in a birth chart rules certain significations. These significations are ruled by certain planet or planets. They are called significators or Karak Graha. Favorable or unfavorable placements of Karkas give favorable or unfavorable results regarding Karaktva. Following are the Karaktva for each house and it's Karak Grahas.
1st House: signifies body, appearance, disposition, character, wisdom, habits, birth, inclination, strength, stature, health, happiness, complexion, appearance, head etc
Karaka: Sun
