I want to withdraw PF from my previous organization. I would like to know the procedure for the same and how much time does it take for the entire process.?

fill up form 19 and 10B with all requisite data , get it endorsed with your previous employer and submit to EPF office where your account is maintained, they will process the same and send it to your bank account within 120 days, provided all documents are in order.

withdrawl of sec 80L made all type of BANK interests taxable and it will be taxed as per slab, excluding Post office savings bank account and PPF interest.

after 3 years you can take a LOAN with penel interest , but you have to repay it in coming years. this is not taxable, but if you close account within 5 years then 100% amount is taxable in the year of withdrawl.

there is nothing like tax free in case of interest from FD, its part of normal income.

if your income alongwith FD interest is below taxable limit, you dont have to pay tax on it.
