India Gate: India Gate is a 42 m high stone arch structure built in memory of the 85,000 Indian Army Soldiers who died in the campaigns of World War I. Surrounded by the lush green landscaped grass lawns and small artificial lakes, India Gate is full of life during the evening. Just in front of the gate is the eternal flame (Amar Jawan Jyoti), which is always lighted.
