Raghu's Answer
The Ashes series during 1932-33 was known as bodyline series. Bowling bouncers on the legside to the batsman, after setting about five to six fielders in the legside is bodyline bowling. The batsman will defend the ball, to protect his face from the ball. The ball will take the edge and fly in the air and the fielders will take those catches. Otherwise the batsmen would be hit on the face. England followed this method to attack Australia and the series was known as bodyline seires.
