what you think dhoni can maitain his captain quality in his through out career?

Raghu's Answer

At present, he is doing well in the one dayers. In future, he will be the test captain of India. He is a cool guy and knows about his players well. He is an aggresive captain and has the desire to win matches. He has to maintain his winning form in future also.

No Indian bowler has taken hattrick both in test and ODI matches. In total four wickets have been recorded in the international cricket by Indians. Chethan Sharma and Kapil Dev have taken hattricks in ODI matches. Kapil took against Sri Lanka and Chethan Sharma took aginst New Zealand. Harbhajan took aginst Australia and Pathan took aginst Pakistan.

Chethan Sharma of India is the only cricketer who has taken hattrick in the world cup ODI game. The match was aginst New Zealand which was held on 31st October 2987 at Vidharbha Cricket ground, Nagpur, India. New Zealanders batted first and scored 221 for nine in fifty overs. He took the wickets of Ken Rutherford, DS Smith and EJ Chatfield. At one stage, they were going very well, with 181 for four. Ravi Sasthri took the wicket of Patel, at that score. Then Chethan Sharma took the hattrick to reduce New Zealnd to 182 for 8. India replied with 224 for one, with Sunil Gavaskar scoring his only ODI century. India won the match by 9 wickets with 107 balls remaining. Saqulin Mushtaq of Pakistan, Chaminda Vass of Sri Lanka, Brett Lee of Australia, and Lasith Malinga of Sri Lanka are the other players who have taken hattrick in the world cup ODI games.

The BCCI was involved in the function and Kapil Dev was sacked from his post by BCCI. In fact, Kumble and Kapil are friends and Kapil would have felt for his absence. But, he would have not been well received, if he had attended the function. That was the reason, Kapil prefered to stay away.

You can join any one of your local clubs. If you are working in a company, you can contact them. Even if they do not have a team, they may try in other companies, which have cricket teams. It is not necessary that you should work in a company to play for them. They can include players as guest members. If you try hard, surely, you will get a chance to play in any one of those teams. Once you join them, you have to perform very well and if you play well, naturally, you will be called for other professional teams, which pay money to you for playing for them. Gradually, you can improve your standard of the game and try for the state level.

In the bgeinning round, the hockey team was doing good and in the final qualifying match, they failed against England and lost the opportunity to play in the Olympics. In fact, all the players playd bad and that was the reason. We cannot blame any particular person for that debacle. We have to start from the beginning and we have to include many young players in the team and soon, Indian hockey team will be one of the best teams in the world.

India's V Baskaran was the coach for the Indian Hockey team till 1997. He became very popular when he captained the side and won gold medal in the Summer Olympics in Moscow in 1980.

Eight teams are going to participate in the IPL games. They are: Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kulkutta, Mohali, Bangalooru, Mohali, Jaipur and Hydrabad. They are going to play 59 matches in total in 44 days to win the championship. It is going to be very interesting, since many leading International players are going to take part.

Yuvraj and Wassim Jaffer are not in good touch. Since it is test cricket, they have been given a chance again. Now, they are going to play in India and they can play well in India. After having played against Australia, they may feel a little easy to play against South Africans. Gambhir scored two centuries in ODI games and not in tests. Any way, he will be given a chance to play a test cricket.
