Asked by karan garg in Beauty & Fashion at   3:37 PM on July 04, 2009

eila's Answer

Mohini is the Best henna herbal poweder ,

Henna - 8 tablespoons
tea dicoction - 4 tablespoons
curd - 3 tablespoons
egg - 1 ( egg white alone is enough - if u don't mind the smell .... u add the yellow portion of the egg too which gives bounce to hair !) If u have sinus trouble , add 5 drops of eaucalyptus oil , ok ?
,
I’ll tell you the best way to do this if you want to colour your hair

Take a iron vessel.Mix together 1 cup henna powder ,juice of 1 lime, 1 egg, 4 tsp dahi, 1 cup decoction of tea and coffee brewed separately.

Use a ladle to mix well and leave no lumps. It should be of slow-pouring consistency.Add warm water if its too thick. Cover and leave for 3-4 hours. The henna will change colour and become a dark brown.

Apply it evenly and wash off after 2 hrs without using shampoo..Apply any oil immediately.Leave oil overnight and shampoo + condition next day.

Remember to condition even if you have oily hair since henna makes hair slightly dry.

How can i improve my complexion?

Asked Anonymously in Beauty & Fashion at   2:10 PM on June 28, 2009

eila's Answer

Hi eila here ........!.
Here are some home made packs which is good for you,as it give natural complexion .

Masks are a marvelous way to pamper yourself with, besides their being one of the oldest forms of beautifying treatment. You put on a preparation, leave it for 10 to 20 minutes and then wash it off. There are many different kinds of masks: some act as pick-me-up, some have nourishing, healing or cleansing actions, some whip up the circulation and some others have an astringent action.

Unfortunately, masks cannot perform miracles but they do freshen up the skin and leave it soft and glowing. They cannot be used everyday, but once a week or just when your skin needs a boost. One of the most important things to remember, when using a mask, is to relax completely. Lie with your feet up, put on eye-pads and relax.

Try these home-made masks for yourself.

Carrot and turnip mask: Boil these two ingredients, for 5 minutes, and make them into a paste. Apply it for 10 minutes and rinse it off with milk. This leaves the skin feeling beautifully fresh and clean.
Kashmiri mask: Ingredients required - 2 tsp dried orange peel, 2 tsp oatmeal flour, 2 tsp cream. Mix into a paste and apply it all over the face and neck. After 10 to 15 minutes, when it is dry, rub it off using an upward circular motion. This abrasive motion smoothens and cleans the skin.

Strawberry mask: Mash 3 large strawberries and apply the pulp as a mask and leave it for 10 minutes. Wash it off with rose water. Strawberries are slightly acidic, containing Vitamin C. It leaves the skin sparkling and shining.

Egg white mask: Probably the best-known, most used toning and tightening mask is the egg white mask. Spread a thin film of egg white on your face. Rinse it off after 10 to 20 minutes. This mask tightens up the skin, ironing out the wrinkles from it and leaving it feeling smooth and satiny. It has an astringent action and so is ideal for greasy skin. If you have a dry skin, just add a teaspoonful of honey to it and use it.
A quick mask: Ingredients- 2 tbsp household starch, 1 tbsp warm milk. Mix these together into a paste and use it on your face. It dries very quickly, to be removed after 10 minutes. Your skin will feel smooth and firm.

Egg and yeast mask: Ingredients: 1 egg yolk, 1 tbsp brewer’s yeast, 1 tbsp sunflower oil. Mix these together into a smooth paste and apply. Leave it for 15 minutes and rinse off with milk. Yeast stimulates the skin, and with the addition of the egg yolk and oil, it is a most effective mask.

Hungarian country mask: Ingredients: 2 tbsp well-cooked rice, 1 tbsp almond oil, 1 egg yolk, 6 drops of lemon juice. Mix and skim all the ingredients into a paste and apply it as a nourishing mask. Leave for 10 minutes and remove it with milk.

This are some Home-made beauty aids.

All types masks are here choose the one which suits you,and the ingredient are easily available.

Why earth is rotating on its axis?

Asked by dinesh ihm14 in Colleges at   6:29 PM on June 30, 2009

eila's Answer

hi dinesh.! eila here

When the solar system formed, the sun and planets all started revolving as the accreting material formed into dense regions. There is always some bias in the collapse and that results in rotation. Very little at first, but as the matter collapses to be smaller and denser, the rotation increases, like a skater does when pulling legs and arms in close. This rotation, established during the early days of the earth's formation, continues today.

Any cream or suggestions for pigmentation on face?

Asked by shalini awas in Cosmetics & Toiletries at   5:06 PM on June 06, 2009

eila's Answer

Homemade Pigmentation Pack :

In early stages of pigmentation it can be cleared or controlled by using homemade pigmentation packs. Here I am suggesting a simple, at home pigmentation mask for daily use. good results within few days. But you have to use this daily for about 0ne month or till pigmentation vanishes.

Homemade Pigmentation Pack Ingredients:
1. Oats powder 4tsp.
2. Powdered sugar 1tsp.
3. Turmeric powder 1/2tsp.

You take normal oatmeal and grind it well using mixer grinder. Also make a powder of sugar. Mix both of it. Add turmeric powder. If you can get a special turmeric powder that is especially for cosmetic use coming under Curcuma zingiberaceae family is fine. Otherwise use normal turmeric powder. Add water to make a paste.

Clean your face with water. Apply clean cloth or tissue on face. Then apply a thin layer of almond oil. Now you can put the above pack evenly on face. Keep it for 25 min. Then wash it off.

If you have bumps or acne on face please avoid almond oil. Then no need to apply any oil. Also after applying this pack avoid direct sun expossion. So apply this pigmentation pack in the evening. Or if you want to go out use some sun protection. Apply this homemade pigmentation pack daily for few weeks till pigmentation goes.
