Do daily contraceptive pills work after a weeks unsafe sex? I am not talking about Emergency contraceptive pills like i-Pill.?

Asked by Kanwaljit in Pregnancy at   2:31 PM on November 27, 2008

Dr.Aniruddha's Answer

Hello Kanwaljit, regular contraceptive pills need to be taken daily. These pills will be uneffective if they are started from middle of the cycle. Hence the patient will need to take extra precuations during keeping relations.
If you still have a query please email me the details on palande2000@yahoo.com
