After having sex most of the semen leaks out of my vagin. How can we prevent this ? Should we change our sexual technique ?Could this be a reason 4our infrlty?

Hello Kusum,

Leaking out of semen is a normal thing. This is not the reason for infertility. This leaking of semen occurs because the semen liquifies inside vagina due to the warm temeperature.

All you need to do is keep 2-3 pillows below the groin after intercourse & lie with hips a little higher so that the semen stays in for around 15min inside the vagina in the posterior fornix & maximum number of sperms are available.

Hi Namu,

Bleeding in first trimester is not safe. Infact bleeding in any trimester is not safe.
Please get an ultrasound done to see if baby is alive or no & decide the treatment accordingly.

Hello Raj Kumar,
The risks in over due are:
1) Decreasing quantity of the water surrounding the baby causing difficult delivery
2) Baby weight increases very fast & then hugh baby cannot be delivered
3) baby might die inside

There are also many more but i think the patient is surely overdue should go to her gynaec & arrange for delivery as soon as possible.

started TTc 4 months back,first time my cycles were up by 10days nd i had al the symptoms of prego..I got my Beta HCG test done the value units of BHCG was 1.20mlU/ml..I know it was negative..but i feel probably v r not doing it right..cant feel his sperm going inside..:((((( most of it is out..I just wanna know if any of u out thr has knowledge about BHCG..does it means that i had developed some even a lil bit in me..which means iam doing it alright.....really confused...plzzzzzzzzz help..

Please keep relations on day 10,12,14,16 & day 18 of menstrual cycle, this will ensure that you have relations in your most fertile period. Thus your chances of pregnancy will increase.

Can anyone plz tel me what Beta HCG levels would an unmarried girl who never had intercourse have..would it be 0 or anything less than 5 which says non pregnant

Anything less than 5 is non-pregnant. But Beta HCG is secreted exclusively by chorion and ovarian cells. hence when beta HCG is present in an unmarried girl we have to get a ultrasound done to see if there is any other pathology of ovaries which are producing beta HCG. I saw your previous question mentioning values of 1.2.
Please get a ultrasound done & tell me the size of ovaries & what the report says. Also mention if the patients periods are regular or not.

Hi Sona S,
Please get a sonography done which rules out maximum malformations in baby. This is called "Malformation scan".
Do not forget to eat every 2-3hrly
Sleep on one side
Keep a track of your weight gain & blood pressure

Hello Munni,
I think you have misused I-pill & hence you got a withdrawal bleeding which was blackish discharge.
Another reason for blackish discharge is missed abortions, but in your case since you took the first I-pill on 9th day this cause is ruled out.
I think you have got the concept of emergency contraception completly wrong.

Hi Sweet Girl,
Hymen is a very thin flim covering the vaginal opening. this gets broken in almost 99% of females at first intercourse.
You will need to get examined by a gynaecologist to know if your hymen is broken to be sure.
What is TTC? I did not understand that...

The levels you have mentioned are too low to say you were pregnant. But if this was the first time that you were to be pregnant then maybe you had what is called as chemical pregnancy.
