Why is there is so much violence in the World? Why cannot people in different countries give peace a chance? ?

Asked by Neha Vijay in Self Development at   7:39 PM on January 26, 2009

Debasish's Answer

The apparent reason could be the divide between the rich and poor countries which is getting wider and wider. This gap is being further harnessed by corruption, greed, impatience and religious fanaticism.Peace has gone inside dark cloud and is difficult to achieve. If the entire mankind sheds its difference and comes under a single platform and vows to fight for peace then a meaningful result is perhaps possible.

what are the latest bollywood music releases which is really good?

Asked by Ashwin A in Events at   5:57 PM on October 28, 2008

Debasish's Answer

Latest bollywood musics, according to me are nothing but a glorious example of sound pollution. In fact every Tom, Dick and Harry are music directors these days.'Louder the music the better they are' is the common theme now.The more the gyration the less is the attire of the performing artists and the present day youths appear to be mesmerised by the seductive charm of the heoines on the screen. Sadly there is no Naushad, no S.D Burman, no Shankar Jaikishen, Hemant Kumar or R.D Burman. The lilting tunes have totally vanished, choudhabi ka chand, hai apna dil or even ek hasina zulfo wale have been discarded in the garbage bins.Instead music in the form of 'Jhalak dikh la ja' and a host of other ear-splitting musics have taken there place.Well, the paying public seem to accept them as well.God knows what will follow next.

Should Saurabh Ganguly selected in Indian Team????

Asked by Nitin in News & Current Affairs at   12:38 PM on September 26, 2008

Debasish's Answer

Only last season Sourabh Ganguly scored a century in Calcutta followed by a double century in Bangalore against Pakistan and he was even selected man of the series.Barely six months back he scored two innings of 87 against South Africa and was instrumental in India's win at Kanpur.Just because he along with Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar did not shine against Sri Lanka only, he is being singled out and a concerted effort is on to drop him altogether. He is certainly a better fielder than Anil Kumble.Public memory is short even BCCI tends to forget Ganguly's performance just 6/7 months back.Yehe hai India meri jaan.

Painkiller tablets should always be used under doctor's advise.Every painkiller, generally has a side effect.Only a qualified doctor can prescribe which tablet suits his patient.Unfortunately in India medicnines are available like laddus, without any prescription.it is advisable to avoid excess painkiller tablets as it may cause gastric problem.Hence painkillers should be taken under medical advise and that too with antacid tablets.

TILL WHEN WE WILL BE DEPRIVED OF GETTING MEDAL AT OLYMPIC GAME?WILL THERE BE SOME DRASTIC CHANGE AND WHEN AND BY WHOM?ARE THIS POLITICIANS ARE CONSCIOUS ABOUTIT

Asked by Hemlata in Cricket & Other Sports at   7:18 PM on August 10, 2008

Debasish's Answer

Our politicians are hardly conscious about impoving India's performance in Olympics and other events. They are mostly interested in diverting our attention from the real issues. They will criticise USA but invariably go there and beg for investment. They do not have the time to think about
atheletics but surely like to be a member of the Cricket Board as it is very lucrative. For years we have not produced atheletes like Milkha Singh and P.T.Usha.Sports bodies should only have ex-sportsmen as administrators
who understand the game.Only then we may hope for improving our performance.
