Why do the containers or vessel carrying gas/liquid material are made cylindrical in shape? why they can't be made cuboid in shape?

Well- the pressure on all the sides is equal in cylindrical tank and in the cubic tank, pressure wii be more on joints or say corners and hence the cubic tank will be unstable.

The marine ship design (Architacture) has undergone number of changes. There are variety of ships in market, eg the heavy machinary carrier, bulk carriers, liquid carriers , VLCC's etc. The navigation bridge in heavy machinary carriers is in front position. In most of the others the navigation bridge is located on rear side. The reason is that the navigation bridge and engine room are nearest. This gives more space to cargo holds.

Hmm - our Sun will be finished in next 5000 years flat (max 6000 years). And not 5 billion years as said by western scientists. So if Sun is finished you can imagine what will be position of earth.
