Gomedh strengthens Rahu. Rahu is a malefic for everyone. It should not be strengthened. Rather, it should be appeased through charitable actions. Gomedh should never be worn by anyone.

Blue sapphire strengthens Saturn. Saturn is a benefic or malefic depending on the person's birth chart.

A gem stone locket can be worn. The right gem stones should be put in it - as per the birth chart. The locket is to be worn at an auspicious time. It should always remain on the person. It can be taken out briefly for cleaning or when it is unavoidable - like a medical examination by a doctor.

Effectiveness of gemstones depends on the quality - there should be no cracks - and on regularly cleaning through a salt water bath. They should also be programmed by prayer, not to absorb any negative energies from the surroundings, and only to strengthen the energy centres of the body. The quality of programming depends on the strength of prayer. Strength of prayer is at times only achieved by pure individuals. That is why gem stones are at times consecrated by holy people and then given to the concerned person to wear.

Pitru dosha is not there in this chart. However, most malefic planet Moon strongly afflicts the 5th house. The 5th lord, Mars is under affliction from Ketu, and the 9th lord, the Sun is badly placed.
