The degree of Bachelor of Laws is the principle academic degree in law in the majority common law countries other than United States where it has been replaced by the Juris Doctor degree. It is abbreviated LL.B (LLB), "LL" is an abbreviation of the genitive plural LEGUM (of lex, legis f., law), thus "LL.B" stands for LEGUM BACCALAUREUS in the United States it is sometimes erroneously called " Bacheolor of Legal Letters" to account for the souble "L"

What is section 440 of the IPC?

Sec.440 deals with the mischief committed after preparation made for causing death or hurt:- Whoever commits mischief, having made preparation for causing to any person death, or hurt, or wrongful restraint, or fear of death, or hurt, or of wrongful restraint, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to 5yrs and shall also be liable to fine. In order to be punished under this Sec. prior preparation should be proved. If preparation is not proved and mischief is proved then it falls under Sec.425 and will be punished under Sec.426 of IPC

Uganda was a British Colony, the Englsih legal system and law are predominant in Uganda. In 1995, the government of Republic of Uganda restored the legal system to one based on English common law and customary law; accepts compulsory ICJ jurisdiction, with reservations.

Trademark law governs the use of a device (including a word, phrase, symbol, product shape, or logo) by a manufacturer or merchant to identify its goods and to distinguish those goods from those made or sold by another. Service marks, which are used on services rather than goods, are also governed by Trademark law. In India "The Trade Marks Act,1999" is passed by the parliament keeping in view of the relevant provisions of other statutes and other documents relating to Trade Marks, particularly the provisions of TRIPS Agreement,1994.

It covers those areas of law that gives statutory rights to certain intangible property that are created by human intellect like inventions, technological advancements creativity in arts, music,painting, literature and most recently computer software.In India IP laws are mainly covered under the nine acts enacted by our parliament.

What action can be taken against corrupt officials?

Information regarding the corrupted Govt officials can be given to the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) or the CBI in writing and such persons will be dealt under the Prevention Of Corruption Act, 1988. Cases will be booked against them and stern action will be taken if they are found taking illegal gratification other than legal remuneration and they will be suspended from the job till pending with immediate effect. The special special ACT enacted to consolidate and emend the law relating to the Prevention of Corruption and also for matters connected therewith.

Chapter XVIII of Indial Penal Cose, Deals with Offence's Relating to Documents and Property Marks, Sec.465 IPC to Sec.471 IPC deals with the offenses relating to documents. U have to more specific and clear regarding your question as to what kind of document it is..
