it is the concentrated urine which is main cause for kidney stones... when the solutes like calcium oxalate are in excess and the urine volume low, the salts tend to precipitate in the urine and form the kidney stones... so the kidney stones are common in the summer months in individuals who consume less water..
the urinary tract infection also favors the formation of stones.. it alters the Ph of the urine and favors precipitation of the salts.. infection leads to formation of stones and the presence of stones increases the chance of infection...
to sum up the low water intake and the infection are the two common causes for the kidney stones..
