Hi Simmi,The Partition of India was the partition of the British Indian Empire which led to the creation, on August 14, 1947 and August 15, 1947, respectively, of the sovereign states of the Dominion of Pakistan (later Islamic Republic of Pakistan and People's Republic of Bangladesh) and the Union of India (later Republic of India). "Partition" here refers not only to the division of the Bengal province of British India into East Pakistan and West Bengal (India), and the similar partition of the Punjab province into Punjab (West Pakistan) and Punjab (India), but also to the respective divisions of other assets, including the British Indian Army, the Indian Civil Service and other administrative services, the railways, and the central treasury.

Hi Uzzwal,, Below are the tips by which you can improve your English communication.

1.Pretend you are a newscaster and read out the newspaper to your mirror.

2. Do not read local newspapers. Focus on national newspapers.

3. While reading a book, underline all the words you do not know. Look them up in the dictionary.

4. Make a list of these words, and make sure you use at least five of them in a conversation during the day.

5. Most important, make an effort to speak in English to your friends and family.
