My face is round shape which hair style suit on me?

Asked by Anshu D in Beauty & Fashion at   10:35 PM on November 07, 2009

ajaychawlach
eers's Answer

Dear Anshu, The shape of your face and the proportions of your features will help tell you what hairstyle is best suited to you. Hairstyles with fullness and height at the crown will give the impression of a narrower face. Try a cut with layers while keeping the sides close to your face to make your face appear longer. Round faces suit either short hairstyles swept back from your forehead, or hairstyles that are longer than chin length. Wispy fringes and side parts are also good. Avoid chin length hair, center parts, fullness at the sides of ears, straight "chopped bangs, these will all emphasize the shape of your face.

My skin tone is combination & has developed 2-3 acne recently on face, kindly tell me its remedy.?

Asked by Anshu D in Beauty & Fashion at   10:18 PM on November 07, 2009

eers's Answer

Dear Anshu, Acne treatments for combination skin are usually two-pronged; one for the oily part and one for the dry part. But first, let us take a look at what characterizes combination skin.
Combination is when part of your skin is oily, while the rest is dry. The oily part is usually the T-zone or the areas of the forehead, chin and nose; while the cheeks are usually dry. The problem with this type of skin is that a single cure will not suffice. Combination skin type usually entails combined skin-care procedures and acne treatments. People who have combination skin usually have pimples on their T-zone; this, being the part that produces too much oil. In dealing with pimples in combination skin, having patience is as important as choosing the right cure since treating breakouts in this type of skin is not as straightforward as in other types. The first thing to be concerned about when you have combination skin is basic maintenance. Another important ingredient in keeping a combination skin healthy is a skin toner. This type of skin is usually characterized by patches of oily and dry skin that appear in prominence particularly during the light of day. To even out the texture of skin, a mild toner dabbed on the oily part of the before you apply your moisturizer at night is necessary. If exposing yourself to the sun is inevitable, use a sunscreen. Pimples or acne usually appear in the T-zone of combination skin. To get rid of this irritation, use a topical treatment like antibacterial skin creams with benzoyl peroxide. Dabbing the topical solution on the affected areas at least twice a day can help eliminate the bacteria that cause the zits. If you have to wear makeup, make sure that you choose those that are not heavy on perfume or those that do not contain too many chemicals. There are a number of natural product-based cosmetics available in the market today and these will serve you better than the heavy-formulated ones.

I am a short stature girl what shd i wear to look long?

Asked Anonymously in Beauty & Fashion at   10:18 PM on November 07, 2009

ajaychawlach
eers's Answer

Dear friend, Of course, there are several ways to look taller. But first of wall, you have to remember few things: Never ever wear clothes with horizontal stripes. This is the biggest fashion crime a short person can commit. Wear things with vertical stripes - the optical illusion they create will at the same time enlighten your figure; you will not become taller, though you will look like having a couple of inches more from the distance. Wear V-neck jumpers, cardigans, tops and dresses; they will give an impression of your neck being longer at the same time making your posture slimmer. Dark boot cut trousers make your legs look longer, if you match them with high heels; you are going to be extra 7-8 cm taller; another good idea for shorter people is pinstripe bottoms or whole suits. Do not wear long shirts or tunics. They cover your legs and make them look shorter while your figure seems stodgy and heavy. Try to wear well fitted clothes and avoid big, bulky, over-sized ones; avoid wardrobe that will make you disappear under the layers, always go for the outfits that accentuate your figure. Avoid long skirts or 3/4 ones; mini or above the knee skirts and dresses combined with mid-heel or high-heel shoes will help you appear taller than you really are. Avoid capris; as with skirts and dresses, never choose lengths that will optically shorten your legs. Remember that to look seemingly taller it's what you look with your under waist areas matters the most. Wear your hair in a high ponytail or bun; go for a hair style that will slim your face, long straight hair or a hairdo that uncovers your neck. Avoid heavy platforms; they make people notice the fact that you are wearing high-heel shoes, go rather for sexy, minimalistic high-heels. To sum up, no matter how much you want it, you can't magically gain a few inches. However, there are lots of small tricks that will help you appear taller. Apart from the above hints, pay attention to your posture. Develop the habit of holding your head high, no matter what situation you are thrown into. Although it's often thought that only tall people have confidence and the ability to lead the others, don't be intimidated or embarrassed by other persons. Learn how to present yourselves with style so you know how to stand out among the crowds. However cliche it may sound, it's how you wear yourself, not what you wear, will change the way other people see you.

My weight is 65kg and height is 153cm. how much weight should i have and how to loose extra kgs, please answer me.?

Asked Anonymously in Beauty & Fashion at   5:51 PM on November 01, 2009

eers's Answer

Dear friend, Its a very simple formula to know your perfect weight physically, just reduce 100 from the measurement of your height in centimeters. For example if your height is 153 cm. ideally you should be (153-100=53) 53 kg. PROVEN Ways to lose weight fast: The good news about the diet tips enclosed are they do not involve starving yourself, or using fad diets that can actually be bad for your long term health.
1. Drink water: Water is quite possibly the single most important catalyst in losing weight and keeping it off longer term. Water acts as an appetite suppressant by keeping your stomach full and fending off dehydration which can lead to false cravings/hunger.
Water also helps your body metabolize stored fat by helping the kidneys flush out waste. When you don't drink enough water the liver which works to provide stored fat for energy helps the kidneys eliminate waste and becomes less effective at metabolizing fat.
Drinking water ice cold burns about 62 calories a day. Your body has to work to raise that waters temperature to your body's temperature. This equals around 430 calories per week.
2. Eat regularly: This means eating 5 times a day and the most important meal is breakfast. Make sure you fuel your body first thing in the morning to avoid hunger pangs later in the day. When you eat 5 times a day you will never feel hungry, make sure the total calories consumed are sensible and don't over eat in any of the meals learn portion size control!
3. Eat lots of fiber: Eating adequate fiber foods to help keep things moving through your bowel. And like water, fiber rich foods bulk you up and make you feel fuller for longer.
Fiber is found only in plant foods our bodies cant digest it to so it simply goes through the body. During the elimination process it cuts calories consumed by attaching to protein and fat that you eat along with it removes that as well. In addition, high fiber foods are typically low in calories and filling, so you are reducing your calorie intake overall.
Good fibre foods include: strawberries, apples, figs, chickpeas, potatoes, (with skins) broccoli, brown rice, beans, bran and nuts.
4. Consume more good fats: There are good fats and bad fats. Good fats provide you with essential fatty acids (linoleic and linolenic acids) needed for normal reproduction and growth, as well as for production of prostoglandin, a hormone like compound that regulates blood pressure, prevents blood clotting and lowers the risk of heart disease.
For example, the reason oily fish is a great food stems from the fact that the essential fatty acids which it contains can actually help your body burn fat more efficiently and protect against disease. Get at least three portions of oily fish a week with Salmon, mackerel, herrings and sardines being good choices.
5. Get plenty of quality protein: Quality protein is an effective weight control tool because of the satiety factor and its ability to keep you full for longer periods. It also balances out carbohydrates by preventing insulin spikes that cause energy loss and sugar cravings. Protein helps to maintain muscle mass which is important in the fat burning process. Good choices include: Fish, shrimps, Low fat cottage cheese, low fat yogurt, skimmed milk, egg whites, s Weight gain is caused by consuming too many calories, whether they are from carbohydrate, protein or fat.
6. Carbohydrates can help you lose weight: Don't believe what you read about carbohydrates being bad for you, they can actually help you lose weight! A diet containing good carbohydrates such fruits and vegetables, wholegrain and moderate in fat and calories, will result in weight loss. Good carbohydrates will also help you combat hunger pangs as they are slowly realized into the body. When eating carbohydrates eat them "from the earth" with no refining or processing. These include whole grains, vegetables; fruits and beans.

eers's Answer

Dear friend, Washing the head with Amla-juice mixed with water after rubbing the scalp for 10-15 minutes. with fresh Amla juice helps in restoring the vitality of hair. Soak dried Amla, Harar, Bahera and Shikakai in an iron utensil overnight and mesh them nicely, washing your hair regularly with this strengthens the hair and checks hair loss. Applying the paste of Amla powder mixed in lemon juice on the hair 10 to 15 minutes. before washing them with Amla water keeps the hair strong and shining. Dying the hair with the following herbal paste makes them turn automatically black and strong. Make the paste of Amla and Mehandi leaves and apply it on the hair. Keep it applied for about 15 to 20 minutes. Then wash it off with lukewarm water. This will make your hair black and shining. Washing the hair with dicoction of Amla removes dryness of the scalp, checks dandruff and stops excessive fall and the graying of hair. Massaging the head with Amla oil imparts natural glow to hair, relieves mental tension and induces sleep.

Is there any natural cure for baldness?

Asked by priyanka tri in Beauty & Fashion at   12:00 AM on November 06, 2009

ajaychawlach
eers's Answer

Dear Priyanka, The search for natural alternatives to treat baldness aims to overcome the sometimes extreme side effects caused by conventional pharmacological measures. Homeopathy can be termed a natural route since it utilizes distillations of organic substances and offers several options. A qualified homeopaths may prescribe anything from fluoric acid, lycopodium, kali carbonicum, kali sulphuricum, natrum mur, phosphorus, selenium and tissue salts, depending on how he diagnoses the condition. Results from the homeopathic approach, though pretty slow, have often been quite dramatic. This is not a ‘do-it-yourself’ option because the efficacy of homeopathic medicine is closely linked with accurate dilution ratios.
Aromatherapy has found favor in certain circles, though not necessarily scientific ones. Proponents of aromatherapy swear by the oils obtained from bay, cedar wood, grapefruit, jojoba, lavender, lemon, rosemary, thyme and Roman chamomile. These, when massaged into the scalp and allowed a certain time for absorption, apparently arrest hair loss and even stimulate renewed growth. Herbal solutions from the Orient include honey, aloe, arnica, brahmi and mulberries, amongst others. The ancient Indian medical discipline of Ayurveda involves massage with and ingestion of various herbal formulations. It goes without saying that these approaches are only of possible benefit if a professional practitioner is involved. Dietary modification has often been employed in addressing male and female pattern baldness. It involves the ingestion of foods rich in minerals like silica, iron, and calcium such as green vegetables. In the case of females, the accent is often on protein and zinc supplementation. Finally, acupuncture and acupressure lays claim to some success in reversing hair loss. These disciplines are based on the belief that baldness is directly related to blood purity, the integrity of internal organs and sexual health. There are many practitioners of acupressure and acupuncture in India who can provide further information.
