Well Pooja , no doubt that Rahman Sir is a great music director and he is capable of matching the best in the world.

Rahman is simply great.
Rahman’s music is just awesome and He is widely regarded as one of the greatest Indian film music directors ever, and his career is considered a turning point in the history of Indian film music.
Rahman's music is also not limited to bollywood. He gives music in Tamil, Telegu movies too ( esp Tamil)
His music in movies like Roja , bombay ,Dil se, Guru have been liked not only in India but abroad too even in USA.
He has shown his greatness in his first movie Roja itself.
This year he has started off well with the awesome music of jodhaa akbar.
Songs like "Jashn-e-bahara " and "Khawaza mere Khawaza " is simply great.
Last year also he won many awards for the movie "Guru"
Finally I want to say he is the best music director in India and we will see many more great songs from Rahman sir.
