well if u can ford to spend that much disassembling your guitar attaching a new piezo electric pickup its ok....or if ur guitar came with a pre-amp..adjusting this would solve the problem..or else even if ur guitar sounds average enough with this pickup you already have in your guitar...go for some decent guitar modeller/processor...This would certainly make your guitar sound a lot better...still if you have any doubts...ask me netyme..
