Hi to all MBA aspirants
As most of you would be knowing MH-CET exam takes place in month of Feb. every year to start with let me tell you what the procedure is
MH-CET exam : 200 questions Time :- 150 minutes
Group discussion : 17 marks
Personal Interview : 17 marks
Work experience : 02 marks ( 01 marks given for exp. Between 1-3 years at managerial level in a listed firm and 02 marks for more than 3 year exp.)
Past Academic Performance : 04 marks ( 01 for 60-75 % of marks both in 10 th and 12 th and 02 marks in both if you have more than 75% of marks)
Total Score : 240
Admission Procedure : Through Merit Number in the Given Category.
For OMS (Outside Maharashtra State ) candidate there are 15 % of the seats in every college without any reservation .

Jamnalal bajaj institute of management ( JBIMS) , Mumbai
Syndheam Institute of management (SIMSREE) , Mumbai
K.J Somaiya institute of management , Mumbai
Welingkar institute of management , Mumbai
University of Pune (PUMBA) ,Pune
For OMS candidate DTE (Directorate of Technical Education) give the choice of submitting CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/JMET and the better of the percentile will be considered and subsumed with equivalent score that means a 99.87 percentile in MAT will get Higher CET eq. Score then a candidate who submit CAT score of 99.86 percentile.
So I firmly advice you whether you are only aiming at IIM’s or not please give the MAT exam to be on the safer side .
What is MAT?
MAT stands for Management Aptitude Test and is conducted by AIMA it has four adminstration conducted in Sep./Dec./Feb./May all are given equal weightage .
How MAT looks like?
MAT exam has Five section in all asking to be attempted in 150 minutes ..
These are
Language Comprehension
Mathematical skills
Data interpretation
Logical Reasoning
General Knowledge
But there is no need to attempt G.K as it is not accounted for ..So u need to prepare only for first four section each will have 40 qns of moderate level of difficulty.
