yes offcoure theres one.
normally when you buy a mic you get one for online chatting or commonly called voip which sound quality is not that much good enough. its used to transmit your voice over in ip i.e internet protocol.

but when you specify that you need for recording they will provide you special mic used for recording which has the capacity to reduce noise.
and its more costlier than a normal mic. offcourse they can be used for chatting
