Mamtaa, I simply loved the movie as It’s a youth oriented movie. Jaane tu ya Jaane Na is a big hit and also deserves to be one. Why do you think it is not supposed to be a big hit, ?

People have watched the movie many a times, it’s a movie where the first half one just cannot keep the smile off their face and feels as if the character played by them are ourselves. One just feels as if its our own story which is shown in the movie.

The story is so sweet.
Jai(Imran) and Aditi(Genilia) are friends from school days, after collage everyone feels they are going to marry but Jai and Aditi get surprised by this, as they both only love each other as friends.
So they decide to find partners for each other as they know each other very well so that other including their parents stops thinking about them as couple.
After finding the couple for each other at first they enjoy the company but later when they see each other in different person’s arms they realize they are in love.

The songs and music are so much fresh and soothing to listen. Aamir surely has done his homework very well in the making of Jaane tu ya Jaane na.

Well from your opinion "Jaane Tu.......ya jaane na" may seems to be an Average Movie but majority of people has really liked this movie and that is the reason why film is doing so well even after 6 weeks of its release.
Made at a modest cost of just Rs 10 crs it has already grossed a profit of Rs 60 crs.(source : www.boxofficeindia.com/ )
So had this film an average as you say it couldn't have been a blockbuster hit.

I think "Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na" is hit movie . Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na is one of the best movie of Imran Khan and His stunts are really cool and Genelia D'Souza look hot . Here is short and nice and all other star cast of the movie haw bene good acting . But the movie is Totally depend on Imran Khan and the song of movie are really attracting . One should watch this movie because it is full time pass.

Well Mamta, I wont gonna label JTYJN as an average movie. As it has been able to achieve all those things that most of the much hyped ventures failed to achieve this year. And in my opinion it is actually a good movie, as it is did all those things no other movie was able to achieve for a long time. The way it brings childish grin to the faces with its simplicity and without its use of any thing special is the real USP of this movie.A movie, which is not extraordinary in any sense, nor does it tries to be. But, its simplicity itself is so much extraordinary, by which it is able to create such a magic and charm that most of todays movies which try to be extraordinary fail to do so.
And, similar has been the review by almost every critics as well as general public who have taken this film with all hands.

TRULY JANE TU YA JANE NAA WAS AN AVERAGE FILM IN ALL RESPECTS ...THE STORYLINE WAS NOT THAT GREAT .BUT SOMETIMES AN AVERAGE FILM LIKE IT BECOMES SUCH A BIG HIT BCOZ OF THE WAY IT LOOKS AND THE WAY IT IS MARKETED . AT THE END OF THE DAY ALSO MOVIES ARE PRODUCTS ...ALL HEALTH DRINKS ARE THESAME BUT YOU CHOOSE THE ONE THAT IS WELL MARKETED!
OSO WAS ALSO AN AVERAGE FILM WITH A CRAP STORYLINE BUT WENT ON 2 BECOME A BIGGER HIT THAN JAANE TU YA JAANE NA

Please know that amongst the most rubbish movies like race,Jannat, bachna ae haseeno,Love story 2050 to name a few, a reasonably good film looks awesome. And for your information, Jaane tu ya jaane na is not an average film. It's a brilliantly portrayed movie.. If Jaane tu ya jaane na is an average film, which film is the Gem of a movie? Love story 2050? The movie deserves all the praise and we should patronize such movies.

I fully agree with you that JTYJN was an average film with a “ghisi-piti” script and average performers. Even A.R Rehman was nothing special in it. The senior actor overacted and the rest of the star cast looked like bunch of amateur actor. The second half was full of clichés and the sequence where hero arrives in horse at the airport is totally outlandish. I think it was pitted against LOVE STORY 2050, one of worst films of this year and got the benefit of it. I think Aamir Khan is the luckiest person in this industry who has survived with such shoddy film. The film disappointed me a lot and this is one reason that sometimes bad films too mint money at the box office.

hi dear..

I thnk its not an average film its a creative and real movie, there is nothing in budget if u have good idea in movie then tht is the movie, not if u make film of 50 crore and expect it to be hit like love story 2050... if u dont have sense and creativity in movie budget cant do anything.

Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na has nice songs, the story line was different and all the stars acted well. So, it had to be a big hit.
