Well Kabir, it is an interesting proposition for Akshay Kumar as well as the viewers who have grown to not just admire him but love him like no other. Even though he has taken almost an unanimous hold in the comic genre among the 'A' grade actors, thanks to his uncanny comic timing and panache of delivering lamest jokes in such a way that it just not brings smile but hearty laugh on every one.
But, just because he is so good at comedy doesn't mean he can't display other emotions. During his long career he has shown that he has made himself adept in performing each type of roles, right from Action, Romantic to Drama. He has excelled in all, and his comedy movies too are not out-out laugh riot, they have deeper meaning where the laugh is generated over the pain of the main patroganist inability to cope with situations and even though audience laugh on it, but still it touches there heart the state in which the screen hero is.
As, Namastey London, even though it could be put in Romantic Comedy, but still the pain of main hero in his inability to woe his wife and see her in other's arms is totally evident. Same is the case with latest Blockbuster, Singh is King.
