Mamtaa, Stars are turning into TV anchors as the money behind it huge and also the fame.

There are many reasons for that, as the star himself comes in front of the public and acts his natural self public gets to see the real person in him/her which public crave for.
Second game shows and reality shows are turning out to be a big hit in the market these days and a lot of money is pulled in from the advertisers in these shows as the public interest is huge.

These thing with some other small issues like having a new carrier as a host and dost, interacting directly with the fans and getting more publicity makes the stars host more and more shows on TV.

Well Mamta, there are many factors that have taken their role in such decision by the stars to turn to small screen.

First, the audience of small screen has increased many folds, and it is no longer considered as an inferior medium what it was considered once.

Second, success at the big screen has become more tougher and illusive as it was once, and only selected few names are able to carry of a film just on their name alone.

Third, the amount of big bucks that small screen is shelling out which puts even the fees of biggest banners to shame, it has totally changed the perspective and made the priorities change of the stars.

There can be several reason for this:

Firstly Stars are being paid heavily for hosting this Reality Shows as it brings lots of glamour to the shows.

Secondly Celebrity Stars brings lots of viewers to the channels as people are very curious to know about this stars and watching them on TV give them this oppurtunity.
For this Channels are ready to pay any amount to bring this stars o their shows.

Another reason that i believe is doing TV shows many fading stars looks to revive their bollywood career and remain in public eye for a longtime.

THESE DAYS TV HAS A HUGE AUDIENCE MUCH MORE THAN ANY OTHER MEDIA . THATS WHY NOWADAYS THERE IS A LOT OF MONEY INVOLVED IN TV .THATS WHY STARS HAVE NO PROBLEM COMING ON TV A STHEY ARE PAID WELL ....ALSO IT INCREASES THEIR POPULARITY IF THE SHOW IS A HIT!

Why, what's wrong with it? Is money bitter to the stars? Or TV's rupee is lesser than Bollywood Rupee.? Stars are here to make money and TV pays that money. Let them make an extra buck.

Reality shows are the new recipe of entertainment and it demands big names attached to it. Big stars accept it as it involves huge amount of remuneration in it. The trend of filmmaking is changing and it demands substance as well as star power in it. Every big star is facing insecurity as the film is now merited on its performance and not only on its style quotient. After the super success of Big B, all major stars have landed up in reality s how and are expected to have earned bountiful of amounts back to their home. Money, security and fame are the basic reasons that have encouraged big stars into TV shows.

hello mamtaa i can say one thing that when a person ( celeb gets old ...their chances in movies alos get down due to lack o glow ad craze among people...as new faces come people like to watch them....so they get less chances ....as time passes away ...these celebes ..inorder not to loose their talent ...and money gaining...they step into small screen....where they can earn o two hands alos ....with alll josh

Well Mamtaa, the primary reasons for stars to turn as TV Anchors is huge money.

There are getting crores for it
SRK and Salman have got a big sum for anchoring in Pacchvi Pass and Dus ka dum respectively.

Recently Shipla Shetty has also got \huge money for Big Boss.

The other reason would be to be in the news because TV has been a big media now and easiest medium for movies and star's publicity.
