Well Kabir, Bollywood is a glamor industry where its the presentation and packaging and not the substance and talent are looked for success. And also its the case of hitting the bull's eye whenever you are given opportunity, as here patience is a virtue that is almost never found in anybody.

So, is the case related to the apparent success of Ranbir while Kunal is struggling to make his name in 'A' list actors. As, not just Ranbir has a very strong family backing, having Kapoor Family name as a heritage and strong ties to industry thanks to cordial relations of his father and mother with all the Big-wigs of the industry.

But, also the fact that in his two chances he has been given he has come out aces. First in Saawariyan a movie that was almost totally lambasted by everybody it was only his performance that came out as the saving grace and was appreciated in visual department apart from the audio. Also, in his second movie with Yashraj's banner that was giving flops one after another he hit again Bulls eye, and success of the movie was attributed to his performance. So, its as much a matter of luck and talent as much about performance. He performed the way it should be done in every opportunity he got, so was his leverage he had by his family name.

While in case of Kunal, nor he enjoyed similar Family name leverage, nor his performance apart from RDB, had been the way audience wanted, so he enjoys considerable lesser success as compared to Ranbir.

its obvious, ranbir kapoor has strong film family background whereas kunal kapoor is just simple common man without any filmy family background.

WELL,BOTH RANBIR AND KUNAL ARE TALENTED.
ITS NOT THAT RANBIR IS NOT TALENTED OR KUNAL IS MORE TALENTED THAN RANBIR,but yes the LUCK is with RANBIR KAPOOR and no doubt that because he is RISHI KAPOOR's SON AND THE BELONGER OF THE KAPOOR FAMILY.

Well , it is pretty simple he is a talented actor and inherited acting abilities from hi father and grand father.

I would say one actor has everything to be a star in future. Ranbir Kapoor.
In fact he has won many awards in his first year as an actor and he is already a star.

His second movie Bacnha Ae Haseeno is also a big hit

He has already won

1) Star Screen Award for Most Promising Newcomer - Male, Saawariya
2) Nokia Future of Entertainment Award
3) Nominated for Star Screen Award Jodi No. 1 along with Sonam Kapoor; Saawariya
4) Stardust Superstar of Tomorrow - Male for Saawariya

He looks very promising and a lambi race ka ghoda.

I liked him in the movie " Saawariya" although the movie bombed at the box office. Ranbir Kapoor and music is the only pluses of the movie.
He seems to be a good dancer too.
