Offcorse Ram Gopal Verma has given open challenge to see this movie in theater alone, and i hope it should be scary, but i find movie not that much scary as it was hyped but its good.

Well Praveen , I dont say Phoonk a Pure Horror movie.
The second half of the movie is good but first half is boring.

Well, for me Phoonk is a comedy movie just like Jaspal Bhatti's Ulta Pulta.

Specially the first half of the movie is really a shocker.

Promos of the movie show it as horror one but it is not at all horror movie in the first half .

Second half of the movie is comparatively all right.

We can say , another dud from Ramu's factory.

Second half surely makes people quietly sit at the edge of their seats. The scenes are so powerful that no one in the audience dared to utter a single word.

kid Ahsaas Channa is pretty impressive. She is really brilliant in the 2nd half.

The others have also given a good performance leaving apart Ashwini Kalsekar, who is really irritating in the first half.

Background music is surprisingly good

But finally I want to sat it is not a horror movie from any angle.

Well, Praveen as i know RGV(Ram Gopal Verma) and the theatre owner of Mumbai Challenge to watch the movie 'Phoonk' alone in a cinema hall. And in ranchi Sujata's owner chellange it, but it was only for Girls and a girl named Harshita challenged it and watched it and won.
I don't think this is too horror and thrilling as they challenge to watch it. This is only a trick to addvertise the movie and give extra hype.

Well,After the failure of Sarkar Raj and Contract, Ramu has devised a new way to promote his next film, Phoonk. This hardcore horror flick is set to release next month. And Ramu claims that Phoonk is the scariest of all his horror films.

Ramu clams that ,the film is so scary that it will be extremely difficult to watch it all alone in a theatre.

Well Praveen, the latest venture of the Horror genre in Bollywood which again has established the fact that it would take eons to evolve before this genre movies could actually be able dish out a descent movie and could be labeled from B-Grade to A-Grade movie.

This latest movie from RGV camp in Horror genre had the challenge attached to it for seeing it alone in a Cinema Hall with cash reward up for stake. It was a marketing glitz that was used by the marketing company promoting this movie and was conveyed to general public from Ramu himself. To establish the horror quotient of the movie but unfortunately this very quotient was seriously missing from the film.

phoonk is a film brought by Ram Gopal Verma. he has challenged the public to watch the film alone and anybody who dares to watch the film alone would be awarded Rs. 5 lakhs. well, it is just a publicity stunt by him to attract more and more people to the theatres.

phoonk is a movie which is directed by ramgopal verma. after so many movie this is an good movie given by rgv.........
ramgopal verma himself give the challenge to see movie alone in cinema hall........
he will give rupees of 5 lakh. if anyone can see the movie alone in cinema hall .......
a person relative of ram gopal verma try to see the movie alone in cinema hall but he is come out from the cinema hall within 24 minutes....
so it is an horror movie given by rgv..........
