LOC Kargil is a 2003 Bollywood war film based on the Kargil War, directed and written by J. P. Dutta.
Synopsis
After Pakistani forces intrude past the Line of Control into Indian territory, the Government of India instructs the Indian army to defend it and drive out the invading forces. A confrontation takes place between the Indian and Pakistani forces, leaving many casualties on both sides. This movie depicts the battle and the outcome it has on the soldiers and their families.
* The film was shot at 14,000 feet above sea level with only 60% oxygen available.
* Anu Malik composed a 13-minute song, "Main Kahin Bhi Rahoon", for this movie.
* One of the longest Indian movies made, it lasted for four hours.
