Well Tiara, out of the movies list you have given all the movie are based on animals, or have an animal character in their plots backdrop.

While the last four movies are totally based on animals as their stories central character in the plot, and are made in hollywood, the first one Tahaan is a more closer to home, and is about a boy in search of his Donkey to be specific and purpose in life in whole. While the third one is more on a boy turned soul , who falls in love with a real life girl and the hardship he faces in expressing his love and sacrifices he makes for it.

All the movies are a hearty, soul touching stories where the patroganist struggles against all odds and comes out victorious in the face of hardships and problem to a happy ending.

I feel except casper all of them are based on animals coz Tahaan has a cute donkey
Free Willy's got the Dolphins,Dunstin the trained monkeys and Dalmations wow! the dogs were great.

Dunstin checks in is based on Monkeys.

Dalmatians is based on Dogs.

Free Willy is based on Dolphins.
