Well , the first movie of Hema and Amitabh together is "Gehri Chaal".
However , Jeetendra is the hero in that movie.
Amitabh did a negative role in the movie.

First movie of Amitabh and Hema together ( a s a leading pair ) is ""Kasauti". which was a big flop.
One song of the movie is till popular "Hum Bolega to bolege ki bolta hai" Picturised on Pran Sahab.

Hema Malini was the undisputed superstar of the 70s. The surprising part was that though she worked in several memorable movies with Bachchan during that decade, she never was opposite him with the exception of 1974's Kasauti which was a heroine oriented movie. After a big gap, they were opposite each other in Naseeb (1981) and then in Satte pe Satta (1982) and Andha Kanoon (1983). But perhaps the most memorable AB-Hema scene took place in 1975's Sholay where AB asks the loquacious Hema Malini with the now famous line: "Tumhara Naam Kya hai Basanti!"

The first movie in which Amitabh Acted with Hema was "Gehri Chaal" but i think he was not againest Hema Malini. The movia also had Jeetendra oposite Hema.

His first movie oposite hema was "Kasauti" which was released in 1974. The other starcast includes Pran ,Vijaya sharma. and the movie was directed by Aravind Sen.

Recently both of them have acted in the blockbuster "Baghbaan".
