Well, I am a big movie lover and love to watch all kind of movies.
I prefer watching Romantic and Off beat movies.
Well In general I love to watch "Sholay" and " Lagaan" number of times.
Both movies are simply great and my all time favorites.
Well What can someone.say about Sholay , it is an epic for movie lovers.
If you try to find out one minus point in the movie you will have a pretty tough time finding that.
All actors in the movie are just integral part of the story.
Even Small roles in the movie like Shupma Bhopali ( Jagdeep) , Angrezon ke jamane ke jailor ( Asrani ) or a Sambha ( Mac Mohan ) are integral part of the movie.
Other actors are trend setters and unforgettable, Jai and Veeru ( strong male friendship ) , Gabbar Singh ( most cruel Villain of bollywood) , Thakur , Basanti etc.
You just cant forget any scene from the movie , all scenes are awesome.
Some of the memorable scenes of the movie are
1) Amitabh's interaction with Mausi
2) Dharmendra's suicide scene
3) Hema Malini's introduction to Jai and Veeru
4) Gabbar's dialogue and entry.
and many more
If I write all scenes , they wont be much space available for the answer.
The direction by Ramesh Sippy was simply great
and even a simple music by RD burman is awesome.
Holi song and "Ye dosti" are still a rage in India.
Over all we can say Sholay is not a movie , it is an epic for Indian movie lovers.
The second favorite of mine is Lagaan for simple reasons
1) Amir Khan's great acting
2) Patriotism
3) Cricket
4) Great music by AR Rahman Sir
5) Great direction by Ashutosh
6) Great support by co actors.
Overall a great movie which you can watch number of time.
