Kabir, My all time favourite classic movie is Sholay. The movie just perfect in terms of having a perfect Bollywod flick.

Ithas a blend of action comedy and item numbers as well. With the effect of the village and which shows the past of our country about the goons and how they used to steal the villagers of their money and grains is nicely shown.

In Sholay some of my favorite scenes are –

When Jai Veeru and Basanti meet for the first time and the kind of spark which comes in Veeru’s heart after meeting Basanti, as they both keeping talking nonsense and Jai feels bored.
When Gabbar, is questioning his three men about who didn’t allow them to get grains and money from villagers which is also the opening scene of Gabbar.
And last I love the opening fight between Veeru Jai and those dacoits when they are on train and Inspector Thakur is taking them to Jail.

Each and every aspect of Sholay is perfect with so many well written dialogues the plot of the movie and besides the perfect villain who will never be replaced by any other person in the history of Bollywood.

Well Kabir, my all time favorite classic movie is Do Aankhen Barah Haath the black-and-white 1957's film directed by the legendary Bollywood director V.Shantaram.

This amazing movie even today manages to evoke the same emotion that it was able to generate in that era. The philosophy and teaching it gives stand out even in todays generation too. The Gandhian philosophy that it portrayed is one of the best pictorial in movie making. Add to it the legendary song Aye maalik tere bande hum, sung by Lata Mangeshkar and written by Bharat Vyas that even today is considered as the anthem by all, it stands out in my favorite list right on top.

WELL, my all time classic favorite movie is ""KORA KAGAZ "" released in 1974 . Film was direced by Anil Ganguly and Vijay Anand, Jaya Bhaduri, Achala Sachdev, A.K. Hangal was in the lead role.

A chance encounter while traveling by BEST bus service in Bombay gets two young people to meet. One of which is Professor Sukesh Dutt, and the other is Archana Gupta. They meet again, and are formally introduced to each other. Both are attracted to each other, and get married. But Archana’s mother does not approve of Sukesh, due to his modest income. She makes up stories about their affluence, which offend Sukesh when he finds out. As a result, there is acrimony between Archana and Sukesh, and both separate. Archana goes to live with her parents, while Sukesh relocates. Archana’s family would like her to forget Sukesh, and re-marry. But Archana finds that she still has feelings for Sukesh. But does Sukesh have the same feelings for Archana

hello kabir i like the film Pakeezah (Hindi: पाक़ीज़ा, Urdu: پاکیزہ، lit.Virgin, pure of heart) is a 1972 Bollywood film.

It is well remembered by generations of its admirers for its touching story of a courtesan, and for its lovely songs by Lata Mangeshkar. It was the magnum opus of the director, Kamal Amrohi who is known for his perfectionism.
This movie is about the pure of heart (Pakeezah) Nargis (Meena Kumari) who was brought up by brothel madame Nawabjaan (Veena). Unable to break away from the vicious circle, Nargis grows up and becomes a beautiful and popular dancer/singer Sahibjaan. Aristocratic Salim Ahmed Khan (Raaj Kumar) is enthralled by Sahibjaan's beauty and innocence, and eventually convinces her to elope with him, which she does. But trials and tribulations await Sahibjaan as she is recognized by men wherever she goes in the company of Salim. When Salim re-names her "Pakeezah" and takes her to a priest to be legally married, she refuses, and returns to the brothel. Salim eventually decides to marry someone else, and invites Sahibjaan to dance at his wedding, Sahibjaan agrees to this, not knowing that many secrets will be revealed at this wedding. When you asked about an "All time Classic". the entire gamut of Bombay film industry right from it's genesis has to be taken into consideration . In this background, my choice for the coveted place for the best "All time classic" goes to MOTHER INDIA (1957), a mehboob khan production that was nominated for the Oscars. this was the first indian film ever nominated to Oscars.Nargis won the best actress award in the prestigious Karlovyvary film festival.

Border is a 1997 Bollywood war film based on the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. J. P. Dutta directed and produced this war epic which stars Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, Pooja Bhatt, Sharbani Mukherjee and Tabu.

The movie won numerous awards including Best Film at the Filmfare awards. Director J.P.Dutta won Best Director at the same award function and father O.P.Dutta, won Best Dialogues.

The movie is an adaptation from real life events that happened at the Battle of Longewala fought in Rajasthan (Western Theatre) during the 1971 Indo-Pak war. It is about how a band of 120 soldiers of the Punjab regiment of the Indian Army headed by Major Kuldip Singh Chandpuri successfully defended their post all night against a whole Tank regiment of the Pakistani Army, until assistance came from the Indian Air Force the next morning.
