The king of Indian filmi scores strikes again! A.R. Rahman has become famous for his balance of East and West, but with Zubeidaa he raises the bar. With more melodies than you can shake a stick at, he creates a lush series of songs that remain ineffably Indian at their core, but which are also fleshed out by Western studio techniques (drum loops, samples, synthesizers) and instruments (guitars). And the eight cuts which comprise the album might be the most memorable of a remarkable career. From "Dheeme Dheeme" to the glorious "So Gaye Hain," there are thick soundscapes for the vocalists, who perform excellently on the material. Although it's fair to say there's no such animal as a bad Rahman composition, this truly takes a quantum leap in its studied blend of sounds and ideas, where Western harmonies in the orchestra are happily juxtaposed with Indian vocals melodies and rhythms for what becomes a sound of real global appeal. If that were the sum total of the disc, it would be ample, but a second CD offers the Hits of A.R. Rahman, seven separate film themes performed live -- many of the tracks also appear on the Live CD issued at the same time by Sony. While so many of the filmi composers are simply cheesy, messily and incongruously Cuisinarting ideas together, Rahman stands head and shoulders above the crowd. ~ Chris Nickson, All Music Guide

Karishma Kapoor was born on 25 Jun 1975 and was nicknamed "LOLO". Of course all the distortions of "LOLO" are her nicknames. She's one of the most glamourous girls in Bollywood and has got the maturity in playing the roles offered and given to her to the perfection so rapidly that she now stands among the top ten of the Bollywood.

The blue-eyed beauty has acted with all the heroes and enjoys her profession keeping fit all the time that whenever she gets her time off she finds and makes a bit of it to dance. She loves her profession which keeps her going all the time that she has a dream of getting into sort of a business having connections with the Bollywood as she wants to be a woman of substance.

My Favourite movie of Karisma Kapoor is "jubeidaa".
Zubeidaa is a 2001 film directed by Shyam Benegal and written by Khalid Mohammed. Zubeidaa stars Karisma Kapoor, Rekha, Manoj Bajpai, Surekha Sikri, Rajit Kapoor, Lillete Dubey, Amrish Puri, Farida Jalal and Shakti Kapoor.

The film is based on the life on an ill-fated actress, Zubeida, who acted in first Indian talkie, Alam Ara (1931), and was the mother of film critic, Khalid Mohammed, who also wrote film's screenplay.
The film garnered the citation, National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi and won Karishma Kapoor a Filmfare Award for Best Actress (Critics').

My favorite Karishma Kapoor acted movie is Raja Babu, opposite. This was one of their (Govinda/Karishma) paired hit movies.

My favourite song from it is ‘eh eh eh oh oh oh mera dil na thodo’.

Her performance in Zubaidaa is also notable.
